Office staff was cordial and pleasant. I showed up on time and after filling out some paper work, the visit began promptly. A very nice lady guided me through a series of initial tests and a retina photography session, in a series of little rooms. Dr. Fast was personable, approachable, and professional. He reached a conclusion as to my prescription in very quick, but unhurried fashion after a series to "whats better, One or Two?" testing. He demonstrated the differences between my uncorrected and corrected vision, for both close up and distant objects. I hadnt realized how bad things had gotten. Dr. Fast also explained and demonstrated why a simple prescription wouldn’t work well for me and why I would need (gasp) bifocals, going forward. It was very interesting to actually try to use the near correction to see something in the distance clearly and vice versa. We reviewed the retina photographs, and Dr. Fast provided a 3D tour of my eyeballs. Seriously. He asked if I would like the photos emailed to me and of course I took him up it. They are very cool. My exam didn’t require dilation, which was nice as I had a long drive home. He also performed a physical examination of my eyes, involving staring into a light while he checked them out. Although there is a LensCrafters store adjacent and easily accessible, there was not pressure to use them to fulfill my prescription. As I live in Portland, I decided to get my new glasses closer to home. All in all a very efficient and pleasant experience. I have no problem whole heartedly recommending Dr. Fast and his team at Eye Focus NW.

Dr. Fast and his staff have helped me through some difficult circumstances, regarding my eye care and prescriptions for my contacts. He is very patient and through during the exam. I have seen him for various transitions my eyes have been through, for about four years now. You simply cannot go wrong with his professional advise and perfect diagnosis. When it comes to your eyes, you must have someone you can trust. You can trust Dr. Fast and his staff to take your eye care seriously. I have referred friends and my husband sees him for the first time tomorrow. He has now earned the trust of my family to make him their Optometrist!

Best Eye Exam I have had in years!!! Dr. Fast and his staff were so accommodating and knowledgeable. I had tried contacts in the past and prefer them to glasses, but they just never seemed to work for me and I wasted hundreds of dollars on contacts. Dr. Fast was sure he could fit me with some that would work... and he DID! I cant believe it. They are awesome and work great and are so comfortable that I hate to take them out at night. This is absolutely amazing and I am so pleased to have found him and his staff! Thanks for everything you did to make my life better.

Eye Focus staff and Dr Fast were friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their services. My visit to Eye Focus was a relaxed yet professional endeavor. Patient friendly front staff with a professional attitude made even the first time patient(s) relaxed from the start. Although there were numerous patients in the office, I was always treated with respect. Questions were asked and answered by all. Dr Fast provided insight and eye details in a relaxed professional manner. Would certainly recommend Eye Focus to anyone concerned about their eye health.

For me, Dr Fast is close by and right next to LensCrafters to get your prescription filled. They notified me by email and ask me to pick some times, they emailed back with my earliest pick. However, upon arriving for my scheduled appointment I was not listed. No problem, the girl at the desk fixed me up and my 0940 appointment started at 0943, everything going fast and smoothly with some new high tech equipment Id not seen before. I recommend this office to anyone wanting fast, efficient service. I look forward to our 2017 meeting.

This Spring will be my fourth year to visit with Dr. Fast. A small cataract in my right eye hampers his abilities to get me perfect vision, but the cataract will hopefully be far enough along this year that I can take a report to VA for them to get on the ball and fix it. I call Dr. Fast my Go to Optometrist. Ive referred several people who have thanked me later. Thats the kind of Doctor I do not mind sticking my neck out for; definitely knows his business!

Ive worn glasses most of my life, and this is the best place Ive ever used for examinations and glasses. The doctors and staff are excellent at what they do and the way they do it. They have answered all my questions, found the perfect place for me to have some eye surgery and have been available whenever Ive needed them. I highly recommend Eye Focus Northwest, Dr. Mark Fast and his staff. They are the best.

I have had problems with my distance vision for years. I appreciated that Dr. Fast allowed me to participate in a hands on way to insure my prescription was correct. In addition, my reading vision began to waiver between clear and blurred. Dr. Fast discovered I have spots on both eyes and that I also have dry eye. He prescribed several treatments and we are monitoring my progress.

I am very farsighted and will never have perfect vision. This didnt stop Dr Fast from working to get me the best vision I have ever had in both contacts and eyeglasses. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. I couldnt have asked for a better experience. If I could rate any higher than 5 stars I would.

Dr. Mark Fast fitted me for lenses and gave me advice on my continuing eye conditions. I found him to be informative, understanding and competent. In fact I had a better feeling about my exam than I have had over many years and many eye exams by other Optometrists. Hes great and I highly recommend him.

The staff and Dr.Fast are great I will literally fly home to Oregon from Texas just to get mine and my wifes Checked there. Dr. Fast might not look like he knows alot for his age but looks can be truely deciving. I suggest you go see him for your next eye exam Dr Fast is fast and reliable.

Love going to Eye Focus NW. Dr. Fast is very pleasant to work with, it is easy to schedule follow up appointments with him, and parking is great. I switched from a much bigger office with the worst parking and long waits for follow up appointments. This place is the best!
