When a provider calls in a prescription and finds out they have incomplete or incorrect insurance information (even though I just gave it to them over the phone), one would assume they would contact you to clarify. Nope. I wait the timeframe that I am told for the contacts to arrive and upon calling to verify they are in, I am informed that they were never ordered because of an insurance issue. I am offered trials, only to arrive and find that one week of trials is the proper Rx for my son, but the other week of trials is not. I ensure all insurance info is correct and wait another week +for my expected arrival date. I call again to see if the contacts are in. Nope. Theyre backordered. Another 2-4 days. My son is now out of contacts, minus the ones that are the wrong prescription, and Im still waiting for his contacts, and have had zero communication from them without calling myself to stay on top of it. Absolutely ridiculous and I will never use this office again. Edited : one week later and still no contacts. They received the wrong ones, and have to order again. Was given another week of trials to come home and see that they expired in 2012. I am blown away at the number of times this office has dropped the ball.

This guy is terrible, seriously....DO NOT GO HERE! He has the personality of a wet towel, he is a bad doctor with POOR customer service. He took FOREVER to get both my husband and my contact lens Rx right (we have never had difficulty in the past with other providers). This meant we had to go back to the office multiple times taking time out of work. It took him about a month of re-checks to get my lenses right, yet my Rx was written based upon the date of the first appt. Dr. Baker refuses to verify a lens script 1 year and 6 days after the initial visit, yet he saw me for rechecks multiple times on these lenses while tweaking the very same Rx less than a year ago. My prescription is not expired, but he insists that I come in and need another annual eye exam. Not only is this poor customer service, it is just another example of why health care costs are out of control!

Got a referral here from my health insurance provider. Had some contacts made and ordered and everything pretty much went off without a hitch. I see in previous reviews there were issues with ordering contacts. Maybe they had a bad apple office person or something but I only had to come in once to get my stuff. Everything else was pretty normal. Nominally friendly clinical atmosphere and a nice clean office. I cant find a whole lot more to say since all I needed was new contacts but this place was just fine and definitely recommended.

Works with you on your vision. Is knowledgeable about what works and doesnt work for your eye condition. Will order trial contacts to make sure its the right fit and weighted properly. Very personable and professional. They will work with you and will allow you to wait to pay for the contacts or glasses when they come in rather than in advance. Highly highly recommend this office and I will be going back next year and am willing to drive an hour just to see him after bad experience after bad experience with eye doctors in my area.

Ive been going here for about 10 years now and Ive never had a problem. Dr. Baker is very knowledge and has always worked with me to make sure I have the best product for my price range. I even had an issue with my eyes turning red every time I wore contacts and Dr. Bake saw me multiple times at no extra charge until we figured out what was going on - turned out I developed an allergy to an ingredient in contact cleaning solution. I will probably continue to go here as long as I live near by.

Excellent care and customer service. Thorough explanations of my prescription, glasses, billing, insurance, etc. Friendly and professional. Not one complaint. The June 10, 2010, ANONYMOUS bad review is way out of line. Ive learned to be skeptical of reviews like that, but you can trust mine. Ive been wearing glasses every waking hour for almost 60 years.
