I would not trust Dr Welicky. When I moved to Portland, I visited Welicky and she said I needed 6 cavities drilled. This was a surprise to me because I had no dental pain, my teeth looked great, and I had never had a cavity in my life. Luckily I decided to wait on the drilling, and got a second opinion from my old dentist back home. My old dentist did x-rays and an examination and said my teeth were in excellent shape, no sign of any cavities. Before you let Karen Welicky stick a drill into your mouth, get a second opinion.

Ive been a patient of Dr. Welikys for many years. She is a great dentist and has an amazing staff! The office is very clean and Ive always had a good experience. Dr. Weliky takes the time to get to know you and what makes you comfortable. The quality of work is top notch! Everyone there is knowledgeable and professional. My hygienist Ahna is so gentle, yet thorough. I used to have major anxiety about having dental work done, but have had no problems keeping up with my dental care needs since being a patient here!

I have been a patient of Dr Welikys office for nine years now. There had been a bit of a hiatus in my visits to dental offices before becoming an established patient here, but since getting caught back up on a few fillings, I have needed no new dental work because of the care I receive from this office. The dental hygiene team is also great, and every time I come in for a cleaning/check up I look forward to catching up with everyone. Sure is nice when people are passionate about what they do!

If i could I would give her a 0 out of 5 stars. Just because I couldnt make it to an appointment one day they let me go as a patient. When i asked why they said i was being treated as a courtesy because they do not accept ohp but they were nice enough to see me. Apparently if i called out or was late they will never see me again. Dr. Weliky is very rude and stuck up, not very helpful. I felt so disrespected. Never going back and never recommending anyone to them.

I will never go back. I have no complaints about the quality of her work. The work she performs is amongst the best. However, the result from following her recommendation was an epic disappointment to me. I write this at 12:19 AM, unable rest due to symptoms from that experience. Later I found out she knew more than she told me, and did not support me, even though I made my decision based entirely on her word.

Theres no question that Dr. W. is an outstanding dentist. Id trust her with my pearly whites any time. Shes also extremely generous with her time and her expertise, traveling around the globe conducting free clinics for people in remote areas of the world, bringing them relief and comfort. She does the same for needy people in the Portland area, Wish we had a whole lot more people like her.

The scheduling process was easy. Dr. Welicky and her staff were friendly and professional and made sure I was comfortable. Dr. Welicky educated me and discussed options for care. Also, she actually read all the pages of forms I had to fill out before the first consultation.

Really friendly staff, all very helpful and welcoming. Never had a problem there. Office is clean and sanitary. I have been going to Dr. Welikys for quite some time and I have no complaints. I will always recommend there office to my friends and family.
