Recently I had the new Ultherapy treatment at the Key Laser Institute here in Portland (Oregon). Full disclosure here, Im a middle aged man and had heard about this procedure from a friend. After a free initial consultation, I decided to have the treatment. I must say I found Dr. Key and his entire staff to be very friendly, helpful, competent and highly professional. Every step of the way I was kept very well informed of what the procedure was, how it functioned, how I would likely feel during the procedure and the likely results. With all of my questions answered to my satisfaction, I went ahead with the Ultherapy. I was told there would be some "pain or discomfort" associated with the treatment process and I found this was true. However, during most of the procedure there was little or no pain or discomfort. And what discomfort or pain there was (in very brief one second intervals) was only minor, totally manageable and well within my comfort range. Now I should tell you, Im a total woos when it comes to pain, but we had discussed "pain management" prior to the therapy and we had decided what medication would work best for me. I took the medication prior to treatment and then had the procedure. Not a problem. And immediately after the procedure, I felt as normal as when I had walked in the office. So now youre probably wondering, did it work? Did I notice a difference? Yes and yes. I could definitely tell a difference. Its not a major or a radical change (youre not gonna look like your high school graduation picture...but then why would you want to?) but I looked better. Definitely better. And as the next three to six months go by, as new collagen builds and the improvements continue to occur, the results should be even more pronounced. Im looking forward to that! Cost? Well, if youd spend this much on a big flat screen TV, why wouldnt you spend it improving your face? I can whole heartedly recommend Dr. Key, his staff and the Ultherapy treatment to anyone, man or woman. Lastly, would I do it again? Yes, and I may very well do that.

I just had my first post-op appointment after my CO2 laser facial treatment. I could really see a difference after viewing the pictures of before and current. Wow I didnt realize how much difference there was until that. The most improvement is still come. Their treatments always include a little extra that other cosmetic centers dont.. Dr. Key and his staff are amazing and caring. I am so glad I found them. They are so thorough and detail oriented and Dr Key is definitely the best and I know because I have had a few procedures done in my life.

Besides being an excellent surgeon and physician, you should know that Dr. Key is an artist. I had two procedures at the Institute, laser lipolysis, and ultherapy. Both procedures went flawlessly, and Dr. Key delivered even more than promised. He told me that he couldnt give me back my teenaged body, but he did even better. My body never looked that good when I was a teen. I am a dancer. Dancing feeds my soul, and thanks to Dr. Key, Im not holding back, and I plan to spend the rest of my life wearing my dancin shoes.

Ive been using the services of Key Laser for the past 10-years. They have always been professional and offer leading edge treatments. Yes, they are expensive, but you get what you pay for. The negative reviews provided by "anonymous" google users - I think they are the frauds. I think they might work for competing businesses. Ive referred at least a dozen friends to Key Laser over the years and never been sorry.

Worst service. Felt like I was dealing with greasy used car salesmen. All they want to do is close the sale and dont educate you on your choices. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Also, I think the people who rave about this place 1)have never been anywhere with real standards, 2)have loads of money to blow, and 3)are so old and tired that theyll think anything that "must" work does.

I cant even imagine doing what I do, and not having the Key Laser Institute with me every step of the way. I must look my best at all times when in front of the public singing. I always know that Dr. Douglas Key, and his professional staff will keep me there. No worries. Dr. Key is the trail blazer with laser.

If your thinking about noninvasive and non surgical work-this is the BEST! Very professional, skilled and updated with the nest equipment for anything non-surgery. I have had several treatments and never have I left the clinic thinking "why". Highly recommend and if your just not sure, call for a consultation.

Used car sleazy up sellin ! It felt like total BS through the whole process. I wanted to take a shower after I left. I think a good number of the positive reviews were written by staff of the Key Laser Institute.
