I would highly recommend Goodskin Dermatology. Im 43 and have neglected my skincare for basically all my life. First, the staff is so friendly and helpful. This office has a good vibe; everyone seems to be happy to work there and with each other. The doctors are professional, friendly, informative and willing to educate you on all things skin. I had heard that there was a new doctor/owner so when I came in I was excited to meet him. Dr. Aanderud has a warmness and openness that is really appealing. I had two procedures done, and he made me feel at ease, especially given my anxiety. The first procedure I had done was Fraxel restore. I had had terrible acne scars from when I was a teenager. Dr. Aanderud prescribed me medicine so I would be calm and feel little pain. They used a numbing creme on my face before the procedure, and although it did hurt a bit, it was tolerable. After ten days the results were amazing. My skin looks radiant and the acne scars have diminished significantly. I would highly recommend this procedure if you are looking to smooth your skin and get rid of fine lines and acne scars etc. The second procedure I decided to do was laser hair removal. Ive bought groupons for laser hair removal, but I have since learned that not all lasers are created equal. My underarms were done previously and while the hair was reduced somewhat, there were still LOTS of hairs there after 5 laser procedures! So, I decided to try the laser at Goodskin Derm for my bikini area. After one treatment, the hair reduction was significant. The laser feels like a little yank of the hair and then a rush of cold. . Im looking forward to using the Aesthetician services next. I saw on their Facebook page that they are having a special for Valentines Day. I have neglected my skin for so long. I feel that now that Ive found Goodskin Dermotology, I can concentrate on keeping my skin more youthful.

Dr Goodkin has a physician;s assistant that actually sees you and treats you. This was my 3rd visit for another spot on my face (Melanoma skin cancer). Each time they have to do a biopsy first. The biopsy creates a 1/3 of an inch sore on your face that takes 6 weeks to heal and the followup treatment creates a 1/2" sore that also takes 6 weeks to heal. I asked the physicians assistant, Sean Pierce, if he could just treat the area as if it were Melanoma this time so that I wouldnt have to be cut into twice. His answer was "no", because the insurance wouldnt pay for it, and it wouldnt be medically ethical to remove more skin. Each procedure takes EXACTLY the same amount of time (about 2 minutes), requires the same amount of anesthesia,and no stitches.Each time I pay my $30 deductible and my insurance pays them $230.On my return visit to have my face scraped (they call it surgery) after the biopsy, I commented to the nurse that I should have just paid the extra money out of my pocket so I wouldnt have to heal twice. I then received a very stern uncaring lecture from the nurse. EXCUSE ME???I was more than willing to have a little extra skin scraped off (even if it wasnt Melanoma)just so I wouldnt have to take the chance of having it done twice. Now Im having to deal with another open sore on my face for another 6 weeks so just this Dr. can make a profit.I will NOT be going back to this provider!!!I wish I had checked other peoples reviews before I had gone there.

Went in with my wife to have something checked during her appointment, was briefly checked as nothing was wrong. The doctor did not conduct a full body exam of my skin. The Dr. was pleasant and did good work on my wife. We have had a couple billing issues in the past so discussed them with the Dr., when we went to check out and the Dr. said that after paying we were paid in full and not to send us a new bill. We got another bill so we called in to discuss the bill and were met with a horrible attitude and terrible customer service. Janet R., the head of billing at the Clackamas location would not listen to my wifes explanation and when my wife did have a chance to speak, she was quickly interrupted and spoken to condescendingly and asked her age. She asked to speak to someone else and was put on permanent hold.

What a waste of money and time. Yes I got an appointment the next day but it was a joke. Needed a general checkup for sun exposure. Instead got less that a two minute exam of entire body where she was two feet away at most times, never even examined my bald scalp, and could not of rushed any faster. Never had an exam take less than 15 minutes at other places and every other doctor actually used a magnification device to inspect stuff. Ill be making another appointment with another company. You will spend more time putting on sunscreen than getting an examination here.

Long story short, from early summer I had been misdiagnosed with a particular situation. From bad advice, stress, a horrible general doctor diagnosis, to basically feeling hopeless and lost, I felt no one could help. After forcing the doctor to refer me to a dermatologist, I stumbled upon Dr. Aanderud. I couldnt believe he gave me more information in 3 minutes than the useless doctors I had experienced in the last 3 months! Aside from Dr. Aanderud being nice, the office staff was very friendly as well. This office was very clean and seemed well equipped!

Dr. Aanderud is the best dermatologist I have ever had. I went to other dermatologists for the past four years struggling with cystic acne on my face, chest and back, and nothing they did helped. Dr. Aanderud was able to see what my problem was quickly and prescribed accordingly, and just 6 months later my acne is pretty much completely gone. I now feel so confident about my skin, thanks to him! I highly recommend Dr. Aanderud and Goodskin Dermatology to anyone as they are very helpful and intelligent.

Dr. Aanderud is the best in the whole wide universe! He is fast, affordable and knowledgeable! Operations that are super complicated and require multiple appointments with others, is a super easy to DR Aanderud who does them in a single appointment. Glad we have a real dermatologist that knows what he is doing, at the same time he understands us, the people, that cant afford insurance but forced to support ObamaNOcare ! Dr. Aanderud is the best dermatologist I have found. He did my Botox a few times now and each time it is flawless. He is very skilled and even more than that I felt that he really listened to me to help me achieve exactly what I wanted. His staff is is very easy to work with too. I totally recommend this practice. You wont be disappointed.
