Nonresponsive. That is how I would describe this office. I went in to see about a weird mole in Oct. of 2016. At that time, the mole was taken off, and sent off to be biopsied (sp?). I did not hear anything back for over three weeks - at which time I called. After I called two times and spoke with three different people, I finally got ahold of a nurse that said my biopsy had come back negative. After this appointment, I started receiving bills that did not even look like they had been submitted to my insurer - because there was no explanation of benefits for certain charges. Fast forward two months, the mole that was removed came back. And, it came back bigger, darker, and more misshapen. I went back, thinking that they would know what had happened. The doctor saw the mole and said that if he was a doctor looking at it for the first time, he would think it looked "gnarly". So, we then scheduled an appointment to have the mole excised more thoroughly. I went in, and initially asked that no biopsy be done, because last time, the biopsy came back negative - and so why would I think this mole would be malignant... the Doc. convinced me that it was not normal for a mole to grow back in the manner it did, and so I reluctantly agreed to another biopsy. Well, now, 3 weeks and change later, I have not heard anything back from the office about the second biopsy. I have called twice, and gotten the run around again. Seeing as this is a mole that was removed and then came back bigger and bad-er, I have reasonable cause for concern... but nothing. I can only imagine what a cluster the bill is going to be. I would say that based on my experience, this is a cosmetic dermatology place - that prefers to give botox injections and beautifying procedures - not a medical dermatology office. I am extremely disappointed. And, I am mad at myself for going back after the first bad experience. I should have learned. I did not. I have now.

Im not happy with my experience there. I went in to have two skin discolorations removed. The doc. reassured me that it was a really simple procedure and you wouldnt even notice where the incision was made. Well, on my back the didnt remove all the stiches like they were suppose to. It got infected and now I have a huge scar on my back that will need plastic surgery. The other was a little mole on the back of my head. I told her that I didnt want a scar on the back of my head and again she told me that I wouldnt be able to see it. Well, now I have a pea sized bald spot on the back of my head. Very poor practice. I would sue them if I had the time and money

Like Dr. Alison Young so much I followed her to this clinic from another major medical center. Ive been her patient about 5 years now, and I REALLY like her and the way she practices medicine. She is Out If This World Smart! She is always on top of whats going on and new in her field. She has been treating me for some significant health issues and I know she cares about my health. I can call with any problems or issues and she always takes care of me asap. Dont find that much anymore. Easy to talk to, explains everything in a manner that you can understand. Dont leave the office with out questions. Highly recommend Dr. Young!!!

I have been going to Dermatology Associates of Seattle for several years now I was being treated by Dr Paula Zook for a few years and now Dr Peter Jenkins. All are professional; organized, knowledgeable, and concerned. The office is up to date with all the electronic connections of the day to keep you connected with your upcoming appointment. The office waiting area, the treatment rooms, and overall facility is clean and modernized with nice views of the city looking north. You will not be erring in selecting this practice for your Dermatological needs.

Dr. Goffe is one of the best. Lately, Dr. Goffe has only been working 1 day a week and as a result appointments to see him are long waits on average. I will be so disappointed when he finally hangs up his hat (fully retires). One of my long time friends who has been a patient of Dr. Goffe for nearly 25 years suggested I go see him several years ago. I have had severe psoriasis for nearly 30 years and I pretty much gave up on seeking help with it until I went to see Dr. Goffe. He will truly be missed by many when he retires. He is the best.

After going to several other doctors who gave me guesstimates vs. solutions, I was so relieved when Dr. Jenkins gave me an honest and direct answer. No pills, no additional services - he just gave me a list of things to do. This to me speaks volumes about his profession and ethics. So many times doctors have pushed secondary products for a kick-back - however Dr. Jenkins just wanted me to get my skin back on track. I appreciate his honesty, his professionalism, and his respect for me as his patient. Thank you so very much, Dr. J.

Im surprised im writing this. A month after my mole biopsy i went to my follow up meeting. I knew something was off when the nurse looked confused when i asked about my mole. The doctor came in and said the results were inconclusive. I called days later asking for a copy of the lab results but they told me that the results had just arrived that afternoon... So the doctor was just making things up, he hadnt received the results. Im looking for a new Dermatologist.

Exceedingly expensive. Two minutes with the doctor will set you back $1000 if you are not careful. Ask for a quote before committing to the knife, etc. Additionally, count on receiving multiple bills from them. If you should have a billing question, well, you can count on continued frustration. The thugs they have manning the phones are not nice people. Caveat emptor. Good luck.

Dr Allison was at Virginia Mason where I first was her patient. Why they let her go is explicable. She is friendly and caring, but most of all she meticulous in examining and doing further tests when there is any uncertainty. With skin diseases that thoroughness is crucial. I am very thankful for her.
