I went in to attempt to have a wart removed. Both visits he prescribed different medications and both times the medication was very expensive and completely ineffective. Neither medication he prescribed worked even a little bit. Then, my insurance (double coverage) did not cover the cost; as I was told it would, so instead of calling us about it, they turned us over to a company that made threat after threat of sending us to collections. After making several payments (it was WAY too expensive to pay all at once), and the growing nasty threats, I was finally able to pay the bill off (had to take a loan out and pay it over three months time), they sent a letter stating they hoped it was a pleasant experience having them as a dermatologist and they looked forward to working with us in the future. Nasty and expensive and ineffective. I would not recommend it!

No stars. This guy is a crook. I went in for a simple botox shot between my eyebrows. I typically got this done every year by a Portland doctor, but we had moved. First, I waited for nearly an hour. Then, he asked if Id like info on what other procedures he could perform. It was nothing more than a sleezy sales lecture. I paid $300, (more than twice what Ive always paid in the past), got a receipt and went home (mad). The next day, his office gal called and said she had forgotten to tack on $100 for my "first visit." I paid it because I didnt want my credit ruined. I wrote that crook a scathing letter and will never, ever go near him again. Stay clear or this man.

My skin is now in very good condition at 65 years of age but it did not start out that way. By the time I was in my 40s, damage from Rosacea skin disease and sun exposure had taken such a toll on my fair complexion that I had to paint my face with a green colored concealer before applying makeup. It was insult to injury for this middle-aged woman to look in the mirror every morning as the concealer dried. Thanks to the laser treatments and guidance I received from Dr. Ecker at Yamhill Valley Dermatology, I now wear very little makeup and yet my complexion is lovely. What a confidence builder!

Worst experience ever. Instead of saying he doesnt want you as a patient, he will string you along in what they say is time needed to evaluate your insurance, but never get back to you. When we had blue cross and used him, he had no bedside manner and was way too particular about how he gets paid. There are better Dermatologists in Salem, I recommend them and not wasting your time with this guy.
