My wife used to like one of the doctors at this practice and has gone here for over a year concerning a rare scalp condition. Her doctor moved out of state and the clinic refused to refill her prescription for drug she was one for over 3 years without seeing her. They made her an appointment and she took the day off work to go. She saw a nurse practitioner who had no previous knowledge of her condition even though she has been treating here for over a year and the nurse had zero experience with my wifes condition and is certainly not a specialist in this area. Needless to say the nurse refused to fill her prescription that was given by the previous doctor at this same clinic and she also referred my wife away to a doctor in Portland since she cannot help her. Unfortunately we still have to pay for a useless office visit and wasted our time going here. Now we have to pay another doc in Portland and gas and time to get there. This clinic did nothing but our money for a condition that they prevoiusly knew about and now cant treat. We could have saved the trip here if they would have looked at her file before having us come and were now not able to treat her condition any more. Just another fleecing of Americans and abuse of health insurance all to get more income for themselves. We are writing to Aetna to deny payment and will be reporting them to the Oregon Medical Board as well

I had my first appointment this week. I was greeted with a smile from the receptionist and had me complete a couple of forms. I sat in the large waiting room and before long I was called to see the doctor. The doctors nurse was smiling and very easy to talk with. When Doctor Chadwick came into the room, I was greeted with a smile and a handshake. He was very nice and asked what he could do for me. I explained the reason for the visit and he got right to the job! He was very easy to talk with and his explanation of the issue was easy for me to understand. He resolved the issue in no time. Dr. Chadwick reviewed my medical history and said it appeared I have been very healthy. (I am 62). I then proudly told him about recent test results and weight loss. At the end of the appointment, he said keep up the good work on the weight loss (I have lost 30 pounds so far). His nurse then chatted with me for a few minutes about the importance of my healthy eating plan, walking and exercise. Neither the nurse of the doctor made me feel they were in a rush to push me out the door! I would recommend this clinic and Dr. Chadwick to my friends and family! I was very impressed with the whole experience!

I am a physician which I believe gives a good background for criticizing this practice. The only thing good about my last visit was my obtaining a prompt appointment and the check in, which also was rapid. I have seen Dr. Srinivasan for several visits and have never been fully satisfied with his "bedside manner." My major complaint is that he hurries through the exam as though he needed to catch a plane for a trip somewhere else. He doesnt elicit a thorough history, sometimes discouraging it by asking a question when I am trying to say something else. He is vague as to the nature of the skin problem, relying on cortisone and biopsy for diagnosis. If it doesnt respond to cortisone, then biopsy it. He removed a small skin cancer from my arm. Had it been my face, I could play Frankenstein in the movies. He is definitely not a cosmetic dermatologist. The outcome of his treatments have all been fine--he has always cured the problem. I cannot judge how he would handle a very serious problem.

Terrible customer service. When calling for an appointment, several times my call has been picked up and put directly on hold without anyone even acknowledging me. The first time this happened, I waited five minutes before hanging up and trying again, as I wasnt even sure that I had the correct number. My daughter has had cystic acne since 5th grade and I dont believe that her treatments here have been terribly helpful. Expensive creams which I have been told my insurance will cover but they do not, suggestions for over-the-counter products, and low dose antiotics which painfully get stuck in her throat and also make her vomit. We are now still waiting (over two weeks since the prescription) on a prior authorization for a coated tablet as insurance has denied it. If you have the means to go elsewhere, I would suggest that you do.

I saw Dr Srinivasan several times for skin checks and he removed a couple of spots for biopsy which turned out to be nothing. His office had me sign a waiver for billing for the biopsy as the insurance company did not cover this. I went in for a standard skin exam and freezing of sun spots then promptly received a bill. Upon inquiry, it appears the biopsy code, wrongly so, was submitted to insurance so the claim was denied. When contacting bookkeeping, I was met with an incredibly rude person who did not want to hear that a mistake had been made. She says bill has to be disputed before she can even ask the doctor about the code! Needless to say, I believe this is fraud to the insurance company and to the patient. I cant believe this office would have such rude and unprofessional staff. Of course I will not be returning.

Dr Srinivasan and the staff at the clinic are excellent! I went to him after visiting multiple dermatologist for my acne. I am in my mid 20s and I still had terrible acne. I truly felt listened to with Dr Srinivasan. All of my other dermatologist told me Id grow out of it, or theyd prescribe me a temporary fix. Dr. Srinivasan worked with me and prescribed me a long term solution that is still holding up maybe 6 months after treatment. My skin continues to looks great, Im so happy with it! I get the occasional spot here and there, but my acne is finally gone. I highly recommend this place :)

I went to Shashi K. Srinivasan, MD for acne. All he prescribed was a low dose of a antibiotic and wrote off my condition as "adult acne." He wasnt willing to listen to my previous treatments. Thankfully, I moved out of state and found a doctor who put me on a higher dosage and an effective Retin-A topical treatment. My acne is gone and under control wish Dr. Srinivasan wasnt so flippant of my condition. I hate to think how my would still be a problem, if I hadnt have moved.

I have scheduled my annual "body check" here for the 5 years I have lived in Salem with the same PA. This spring at my annual appt, I pointed out several questionable spots and was told to schedule another appt this summer and she would look at them. After freezing a couple of sun spots, I was billed $300 and sent reminders to rebook. I felt that I was nothing more than a money maker for the clinic and the health of my skin was unimportant. I wont be back.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. I have been to this clinic more than once in hopes that I could have a better experience the next time, I was so wrong. The doctors here are rude and could careless about their patients, the MAs are uneducated and the front office was the worse. They were so rude about receiving their money and didnt care if it was completely unprofessional. PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE if you care about your health and treatment.
