Simply put this is BY FAR the best medical clinic/care facility I have ever experienced. Im 48 years old and have seen my fair share of medical clinics in my adult life and this one and THIS STAFF especially are second to none. I see the clinic 4-5 times a year for my issues and drive 57 miles(1hr 17mins) one way and pass 3 major healthcare facilities on my way but choose this clinic because of the way they treat me. Im not retired and have unlimited time to travel there, in fact I work 55+ hrs a week and have a pretty busy schedule like most but choose to come here because of how Im treated. Been coming here for over two years and see Dr. Lynn West. I used to see her when she was in Portland but when she moved here a couple of years ago I followed her because shes the best. Now after seeing how this staff treats me I KNOW why she moved here. They are that GOOD. Specifically Jaime(sic), Terry, and Rachel. These 3 are incredible. All I can say is that in todays day and age of where we ALL kinda feel like the healthcare industry is nothing like it was 30-40yrs ago for several reasons and usually have a somewhat negative opinion of the modern industry, this place and these 4 staff members especially, blow up those opinions and stereotypes. Also I NEVER write reviews but feel so strongly about my experiences here that I felt compelled to tell others that if youre considering a new healthcare provider you would being doing yourself and your family a great service by choosing this place and this STAFF. Youll NEVER feel like just another patient or number at this clinic. Thank you to all of you at Salem Health Clinic RIVER ROAD SOUTH(this is the only location that I can vouch for) for all your hard efforts in being TRUE healthCARE providers. You guys are clearly pros and the best at what you do. If there was more than 5-stars youd deserve them.

Im really confused by the negative reviews. We see Lindsey McQuillan, FNP and shes really nice, takes time to talk to you and make you comfortable, listens to all concerns. I think the longest Ive had to wait was about 20 minutes and it was an appointment towards the end of the day, so not that surprising. Today I even received a follow up call from an appointment that I had about a month ago to make sure that I didnt need anymore assistance with a referral for my son. I think the only downside at this point is that they closed the lab there.

I dont get the bad ratings. Ive been there several times for various issues and am always treated like a valued client. As someone who works in the client care field, I know it can often times be very hard to remain patient in the face of someone who you just cant make appease. Also, they are one of the only clinics in Salem who take my insurance. Lastly, I found their doctors to be caring and compassionate. LYNN WEST was particularly amazing. I give this place a 5.

If you want to go to this clinic be very aware that Nurse Practitioner Donna Millan has a temper. I have never heard of a medical profession treat someone so rude. When a person goes to get some help and put their trust into helping you and then to go in and get yelled at and accused of being a liar after proving to them that they are not then they are wrong!! No apology from the clinic or from Donna Millan so please be aware of this happening if you see this person.

Wait time is a joke. Many times either my husband or myself have walked out of the appointment after waiting 45 + minutes to see Donna Milan. Been late to one appointment received a letter of "warning" stating they could drop us if were late again. Dont let the voicemail fool you, appointments are always at least 2 weeks out. Ive gone to convient care 3 or 4 times due to not being able to wait. Looking for a new P.C.P.

As far as Im concerned Salem stinks. Lousy doctors that you cant get into see at all. Never taking new patients. Then you see a nurse practitioner that doesnt know anything. Salem sucks. They dont keep records straight either
