To anyone interested in coming here to be a patient, DONT. Ive became a patient last year out of desperation because I couldnt get an appointment elsewhere sooner. I am not amazed that this place has been shut down yet due to how the business is managed. Lets start off with the building and the parking lot. Its a bit old and the lot is kinda small, it wouldnt hurt to update the building even a little to make it more appealing for the patient and employees. Overall, its acceptable. NOW, the girls at the front desk, theyre not at all helpful with anything regarding your insurance if you have a question about it. Most places Ive been to have been very helpful with telling me of how much I would be expecting out of pocket for the appoint and etc. This place, no way...the girls feel like its "not their job" to do any of that. Overall, dissatisfied. The Medical Assistants, I believe theyre the only people here that do their job correctly. Always nice and friendly to the patients. Interesting to see that there is a high turnaround rate...I can probably see why...overall, satisfied. Now, the doctor...I was examined by Dr. Daisy Dhillon, holy crap...I am amazed that she is even a doctor. I can get a better diagnosis from a homeless person on the Springwater Trail, researching online, or even a rock. The reason I say that is I had some pain in my legs so I had her check it out, and she confirmed that I had this particular disease. The second time I had her look at it again due to the pain, Ive mentioned about the "disease" then she questioned where did I come up with this and that she never said I had this, but I didnt argue. The third visit for the same problem, she now tells me that I have this "disease" again. In a nutshell, she gives you random diagnosis, never following up on what she say or she does UNLESS you make another appointment to pay a co-pay so she can say a few words to you. Overall dissatisfied

Went here to see my regular doctor. She was unavailable, so I got an appointment with Dr Dhillon instead. New insurance, but same insurance provider. The office staff told me I was in network and there would be a co-pay. They said they couldnt tell me how much it would be at the moment but they would check and catch me on the way out. Unusual, but Dr Byrne has been my doctor for years, so I trusted them. It was a routine visit for a new prescription of medicine I have been taking for years. Dr Dhillon required a test in spite of my record and refused to prescribe my meds without it. I asked for a justification and was provided none. She treated me like I had no knowledge of the asthma I have had for 30 years. She was incredibly condescending when I asked. I should have left then and there, but went ahead with "Doctors orders." On my way out, prescription in hand, I stopped to pay my co-pay. I was told there was none. "Zero co-pay?" I asked. "Yup. Youre good," were the exact words I received back. Then I got my bill. Insurance covered 10% of the visit and the unnecessary test. I was a little annoyed. I called the billing office and never hear back. Six months later, the billing office is trying to collect from me. I ask to speak to someone about the charges and get bounced around between the business office, the front office, and the manager. I ask about the tests and my medical history and am told, "We dont do unnecessary tests. The doctor must have felt it was needed." I explained I was looking for any explanation or reasoning and effectively had the same answer repeated to me. I will be transferring to a new doctor. Avoid Dr Dhillion. Avoid this office staff.

Mixed bag here.. I truly found a fantastic Dr. in Dr. Daskalos. I called to get a refill on one of my medications and was told that I was terminated as a patient. This stinks... They said I was turned over to collections. Well... I would have been at the end of the month. I paid in full on the 20th. The date on the invoice said due by 10/25/17. I understand that I WAS late with payment, but did pay BEFORE it was sent to collections. We moved and I honestly lost track of these bills. I take full ownership of that fact. My Daughter saw Dr. Daisy Dhillon... Horrible Dr... My daughter (17) came home crying after meeting with her. She went in to establish care, and have her knee looked at. The Dr. questioned her about working (she worked at Fred Meyer) and said she should be focused on school and not working?? (BTW she has maintained Honor Roll at SBHS) She then stated, "You are overweight and need to do something about that". Not once asking what she was doing about that. (we have a membership at CAC and at that point she had lost 17 pounds and is down 35 now). I understand it is a Drs job to make sure we are treating our bodies well, but have some manners... decency at the least. I truly appreciated Dr Daskalos, best Dr I have ever had.. I am saddened and frustrated at the dismissal.

Just wanted to post my own review to hopefully offset all the ridiculous negative reviews on here (someone complained about the size of the parking lot... are you serious?). Dr. Daskolos has been my primary doctor for several years now and hes great. Hes very personable and doesnt treat you in a condescending "Im a doctor whos way smarter than you" type of way which I really like. He wont just put you on a pharmaceutical drug right away and actually tries to find the root of the problem youre having first. Also one extra detail that I like is that I am guessing he is in his mid to late forties, and is obviously in fantastic shape and takes his own health very seriously. Thats a big plus for me. Someone mentioned that they are always running late here. They do run late sometimes but I dont think Ive ever been to a medical facility that doesnt run a little late, so thats not something that bothers me. All in all, Ive had a great experience here and if youre a man I highly recommend seeing Dr. Daskolos.

I was a patient at Columbia View. I found they like to see you every month or so whether you need it or not. I guess they like to charge your insurance company, easy money. The doctor I had just kept prescribing drugs that did not work, it didnt matter to her that I had to pay for these. They also botched a referral with Legacy Health that my insurance company did not pay for. They were informed on how to do it correctly, but they choose not to help so Im stuck with the entire bill. Im having to take them to court and sue them to get what they could not do correctly in the first place.

The most caring Doctors in the whole of Portland. They all are so smart and take all the time you need, with out feeling rushed. I am 69 years old and have been seeing the Doctors for over 6 years. My health and overall feel great. A very special shout out too Dr. Byrne she is truly one of the finest Doctors I have ever had. Plus she is so nice and caring. You can not go wrong with Columbia View.
