My husband and children and I have all been patients of Gentle Family Dentistry for many years now. They are the BEST!!! I have been to many dentists throughout the years in all different parts of the country, and GFD is absolutely the best one. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. They are meticulous about cleanliness. They are super prompt with appointment times. Jenna is amazing. I call and leave messages at all sorts of odd hours about various topics, and I always get a quick call back from her. She has helped me through dozens of issues and she always gives great, straightforward advice. Nothing is hidden and there are no surprises. Someone always calls to let me know what costs will be ahead of time, and if I cant afford it yet, we just reschedule. Jenna is so sweet with my kids too. The whole staff is!!! Alison, Brooke, Charlotte, everyone... They are awesome. My kids actually LOVE going to the dentist and look forward to it. The front desk staff is wonderful. We have a big family and they always accommodate us. The doctors are all great too, personable and professional and efficient. I believe that some of my past dentists have given me more problems than they ever solved for me, but not GFD... They have my complete trust. And that is saying a lot because despite all of my best attempts to take care of my teeth, I have had tons of dental problems and grief over the years. Only since becoming a patient of GFD do I feel that things are finally getting better! They really are the best. I would recommend them to anyone. I rarely write reviews for anything, but I do read reviews regularly, and every once in a while something in my own experience is so impressive that I just have to take a minute to contribute to the community and let everyone else know. If you are looking for a dentist in the Lehigh Valley, choose Gentle Family Dentistry!

Thought this would be a good experience...but the office policy is NOT to do a regular cleaning if you are diagnosed by THEM with periodontal disease. I go to two dentists... one in North Carolina where we have a home and one in NY who i have been going to for over 20 yrs. I just moved to bethlehem, pa. and wanted to find a new dentist in the area. I go for a checkup every four months either in NC or in NY to get my teeth cleaned and I have NEVER been diagnosed with gum disease. I have always had a regular cleaning. This practice took x-rays, and then a hygienist came in and did the gum probe. she said i had periodontal disease and the office policy was such that once diagnosed...i would need a deep cleaning...and mine was so bad i would need two sessions with anesthesia each time. WHAT??? AND of course it will cost a lot more money. the dentist came in to examine my mouth and did not disagree with the hygienist. I paid and left without any cleaning and went to another dentist in another practice in the area who said i definitely DID NOT have any periodontal disease. my teeth and gums were healthy. he agreed with my other two dentists in NC and NY and said come in for a regular cleaning. he couldnt believe that Gentle Family Dentistry diagnosed me with periodontal disease. Beware of Gentle Family Dentistry. They diagnose periodontal disease on healthy gums so they can do deep cleanings that cost over $1,000 dollars.

I highly recommend Gentle Family Dentistry! The staff are extremely friendly and they are very willing to work with you. I have been going to GFD for 4-5 years now and have always been greeted with a smile from Jenna. She has been very accommodating for whatever my needs are even if I had to come in 1st thing when they opened. The hygienist, Alison, is also very friendly. Not only does she do an amazing job at cleaning but she also makes it personable. She asks questions about the past week or weekend which makes the environment better. She also checked in a few times to make sure I was okay while she was cleaning. Today, Amber, was also very helpful. She fitted me for a retainer and also redid one since she noticed a bubble in the first mold. She took her time and did not rush the process. Finally, Dr. Ramirez was great! I had broken my permanent retainer a few times and he was able to fix it right away. Today I also came in with a broken retainer and I had asked him to remove it. He did without any hesitation and put in a request for a lower non-permanent retainer. Thank you to the team at Gentle Family Dentistry in Bethlehem! -Morgan Masterson-

I recently moved back to the Lehigh Valley area and it was time for my regular check up. I searched my providers web site to find a dentist that was close to my work so I chose Gentle Family Dentistry without giving it much thought. The office staff, Robin and Jess, were very polite and helpful in getting me situated as a new patient. I didnt have to fill out a ton of paperwork and there were no issues with my insurance. Jenna was my hygienist and she was great. She clearly explained everything she was doing in regard to the x-rays and cleaning process. At the conclusion of my cleaning, Dr. Ramirez came by to introduce himself and have a look at my teeth. He was very professional and seems like a nice guy, easy to talk to. He even commented on the quality of my teeth. Glad I found Gentle Family Dentistry; I wont have to dread when my next 6 month appointment is up. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is seeking a dentist in the Bethlehem area.

Can be really good. I however just went to change my daughter cleanings. And the lady who answered the phone (broken English) kept interrupting me making a 5 min call to a 15 min call. I said my daughters have a cleaning scheduled for the 19th of this month at 4 pm, I would like to move that appointment to be another day at 4 pm & it does not have to be with the same hygienist as last time. After 10 min of saying I dont care who the hygienist is just make it so both girls have appointments at the same time on the same day, and after explaining why I wanted my daughters to have the same time. And how it doesnt matter who is doing the cleaning so long as they are being done at the same time. She finally put them in on the 21st of JUNE! This practice can be really nice, but this was very frustrating to say the least.

Ive been going to Gentle Family Dentistry for a few years and Ive always been treated well and have liked the staff. My most recent visits were for a deep cleaning with Jenna. In my visit when it was determined I needed to have a more extensive cleaning than normal, she explained the reason why and how it would be done and scheduled my appointments. Dr. Gangji reviewed my xrays and took a peak in my mouth to check things out. Both were very nice and explained what they were doing while working in my mouth.. The cleaning went fine and Jenna was great and even without being numb it wasnt too bad. Lucky we did this now rather then wait and let the pockets around my teeth get worse. Thanks to their explanations, I will be more diligent to take care of my teeth so this doesnt happen again and my gums stay healthy.
