I had to have my FRONT tooth replaced and saying I was nervous about the procedure and how it was going to look after was an understatement. I am not the easiest patient due to severe anxiety and panic attacks with all things “medical”, especially needles. Dr. Jay did such a fantastic job! He explained everything and took the time to make sure that he was prepared for an special needs I required. I called multiple times before the procedure with questions and concerns and Crissy was amazing. She explained everything and made me feel comfortable. I was terrified walking into the back, knowing I was going to get a shot. They sat me down, put on the massaging chair, asked me what I wanted to watch on TV and let me relax until I was ready. I didn’t feel a thing!!! The tooth looks EXACTLY the same if not a little better than the real one. Color matches perfectly. I honestly cannot believe how good it turned out. I have been going to Dr. Jay for about 2 years and I would never go to anyone else! Not only are they great with major procedures but even going in to get a cleaning, Julie the Hygienist is so welcoming and makes the visit enjoyable.

Does going to the dentist make you cringe, too? Its something we all have to do, so why not go to a dentist that gets it?? For me, Dental Distinction with Dr Jay is the dentist that gets it. I feel welcome every time I visit (they make a point to know me and my family) and the staff are always friendly, professional, and accomodating. Ive never felt rushed when I have questions or hassled when I needed to change my appointment. The brand new offices are fantastic, with all new equipment, on-demand TV, massage chairs, and office hours that fit my schedule with morning and evening availability. Ive actually INCREASED my cleanings to 3 times per year because of the service that I receive from Dr Jay and his staff. Patient for ~5 years: cleanings, fillings, teeth whitening, jaw/bite alignment issues.

I have been going to Dr. Petkevis for over three years and am very happy to have found a permanent dentist dedicated to his patients and craft. Dr. Petkevis has always been flexible with his appointment hours for me and even stayed past business hours on occasions to accommodate my hectic work schedule. His staff is very friendly and professional and also seem to genuinely care about my well being. I have referred numerous family and friends to see Dr. Petkevis and they have all also reported back high praises. Dr. Jays new office is beautiful and well equipped with the latest technology to make your experience enjoyable. I currently reside in Philadelphia and still make sure to drive back to Chester Springs twice a year to see Dr. Jay and his staff. Keep up your good work!

I have had terrible experiences with dentists for years. Dr Petkevis changed all that. He has virtually rebuilt my failing teeth and off-bite, using crowns and implants where appropriate. It is immediately obvious that he knows exactly what to do and how to proceed so that, from beginning to end, everything flows smoothly...and he explains his planned procedures and progress in laymans terms so that I understand what to expect. If youre looking for state-of-the-art professionalism, know-how and craftsmanship, Dr Petkevis is the guy. And his friendly, efficient and thorough support staff will make you feel comfortable and keep you advised of costs along the way so there are no sudden surprises. I highly recommend Dr Petkevis and his staff at Dental Distinction!

I have never been so mistreated by a hygienist in my entire life. I took my little girls to this dentist and when their cleanings were done they were all bleeding. They have never been scared of the dentist before, but after that they begged me never to take them back there. I still had my cleaning scheduled and since I was overdue I went anyway. What a mistake. The hygienist insisted that I must never floss and that is why my gums were bleeding so much (I have flossed every day since I was a teenager) and to demonstrate the right way to floss she yanked the floss in and out very hard. She seemed angry and annoyed that I complained about the pain. The dentist himself never even came to see me. We will never go back there.

Dr. Jay saw me on short notice today because I was having tooth pain. Although I am typically not a fan of going to the dentist, Dr. Jay is truly exceptional! Not only is his staff pleasant and professional, his office is beautiful. He made short work of my cracked filling, easily dispersing my anxiety about going to the dentist, and sent me away with a smile on my face. Dr. Jay is a skilled, efficient, and friendly dentist. It is obvious the pride Dr. Jay has put in to his practice and the value he has of his clientele. I easily saw today why staff members answer the phones asking “Thank you for calling Dental Distinction. How can I make you smile?”

My entire family has been going to Dental Distinction for years now. Both Dr. Petkevis and the rest of the staff are excellent, professional and very friendly! His practice offers some of the newest dental technology offered and every procedure is always explained thoroughly beforehand. The hours are very convenient and any time that I have needed to get an appointment last minute they have been extremely accommodating. The office is immaculate and easy to get to. In short, I would recommended Dr. Petkevis and his staff to anyone looking for a great dentist with state-of-the-art technology and an experienced, friendly staff!

Dr. Petkevis and his entire team set the standard for compassionate and professional dental care. Routine cleanings - which are usually a dreaded semi-annual occurrence - are always a pleasant experience at Dental Distinction. A massage chair, soothing music and efficient treatment - whats not to love? I was scheduled for dental work on my birthday this year. I mentioned to Dr. Petkevis that I was born at 2:57 PM. He took the time, in the middle of my filling, to wish me a happy birthday at exactly 2:57 PM. This is just one example of the personalized and attentive care you will receive at this dental practice.

I wish I found this place before my big move out of the U.S.! The staff is amazing and I love their holistic approach to treatment. They really get to know you instead of other dentists Ive been to where you just schedule an appointment, they get in you and then out. Not here! They really care about you, and Dr. Petkevis is great! I normally hate getting fillings done but between his expertise, the music provided, and massage chair haha, the care and treatment was superb!! I highly recommend this place!! Kristy, Lillian, Julie, Brynne and Dr Petkevis are amazing!! Stop searching and just come here! :)

After my family moved into the area last year we wanted to locate a dentist who was a graduate from the Dawson Academy and found Dr. Petkevis. We have been very happy with our treatment so far, and he has been excellent in dealing with a pair of adult orthodontic cases and two young children. His chair side manner is excellent and he is fantastic at communicating alternative approaches. The staff is great and always on the ball with billing, inquiries or assisting with treatments. Julie in particular has been wondering performing preventative care services on my young daughters (4 and 7).
