I just had to write a review because I usually dont! Thank you for taking the time to read this! WOW!!! I have finally found a vet I trust! I had horrible experience with another vet and ever since I just dont ever want to go. I felt like they are all about money and dont really care about your pets. Well, Im here to tell you this is not the case for Dr Matunis and his staff! They really care! My precious 9 year old kitty lost her tooth the other week and I was devastated and pretty mad because they told me I needed to get her teeth done back in February and I brushed it off (because of my previous comment). I took her to see Dr. Matunis and he was so honest with us, I was actually blown away! “Wait, what you don’t want me to spend $55 on an antibiotic because you feel she really doesn’t need it right now?” “Huh? You recommend getting her teeth cleaned but it’s not life or death?” His honestly was seriously what made me love Eagle Animal Hospital. So we decided to get her teeth done, after much talk and discussion about spending a significant amount of money on a procedure that was recommended. Well one day later, and I am so happy we got her teeth cleaned and abstractions! The staff was incredible!! I dropped her off crying my eyes out and could barely sign the papers, and everyone there was so understanding and assured me she was going to be fine. Handed me tissues and were just so sweet to me! I was called twice that day once because she actually needed another tooth removed (it was pretty bad) and once when the procedure was all over to schedule a discharge appointment. Yes, a discharge appointment, not here’s your cat, she’s fine, enjoy your night. A staff member takes the time to show you pictures of the procedure and explain in detail the medications and what to expect at home the next couple day. Shortly after her procedure I was sent a picture of her recovering with one of the staff members holding her and a beautiful sign saying she was doing great, it seriously made my day! That minute they took to take that picture spoke volumes! They hand wrote and decorated a bag to send home with her with her meds, gave her a bravery certificate, and called me within hours after opening the next day to check on her. I’m so thankful and so amazed with this staff! They truly care, and really take the time to make sure your babies are well cared for. Oh yeah, and my skittish cat that runs as soon as someone comes in the house was alert and hanging out with the staff all day! She loved them!!! She was clean when she came home (yes I know that sounds funny, but again, bad experience)! She is recovering so well and seems to be a new kitty less than 24 hours after the surgery. Thank you Eagle Animal Hospital for being you, your kindness, and your caring! I’m so thankful I found you guys!!

Sometimes you are lucky in life to meet people in a professional setting that view each patient as a gift that walks through the door. All the staff have the highest concern and regard for the family that they meet and care for. Our Molly was just one of our family that was graced to have found Dave and Jen and the staff at Eagle Animal Hospital. A yellow lab with the love of people, she found Harriet, who greets you as you walk in the door. "Harriet" was one of the words that Molly knew. In typical lab style, she would jump into the car with great anticipation of the best belly rub ever. I always teased everyone that she loves Harriet best. Molly was diabetic, blind, and in her final moments, cancer was taking over her body. This hospital showed the compassion and care in all of her needs. Including beyond hours texting and emailing to make sure she was stable. We have never felt so much love when she was put to rest. And now we have two new members to our family that have come to us. Initially put in ICU, they have recovered, again from the intensive care of Dave and Jen and their staff. Beamer and Jake are now healthy and silly and full of life. Our geriatric lab, Lexi, is cared for by Dave visiting us at home. Again, taking the extra step to make sure a family member has all their health needs met. The five star rating does not do this extended family of ours justice. They all have a special place in our heart for their deep love and devotion to our pets.

BEST VET and STAFF AROUND! . I have had dogs all my lfe and due to moves, several vets. Dr Matunis and his staff are the most caring, professional and competent group I have ever thad the pleasure to see. You can tell every person in his office loves animals and they are great with "humans" too. You always feel so welcome. My "baby" was very ill when Dr Matunis took over this practice and he was able to keep him alive another year and a half longer than all the "specialists" had given me hope for. He worked with teaching hospitals across the country and investigated new treatments to keep him alive. He also called to check up on his progress. Not just returning calls but actually initiating the call just to check to see how he was doing.Without these wonderful loving people I would not have had the extra time with my Schotzie. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I found a stray cat a while back and took him in to see Dr. Matunis. I cant emphasize enough how WONDERFUL both he and his staff were! They were incredibly generous, professional, and so friendly! As a college student, I was anxious when I first took him in because he was older and I was worried about taking care of him. The staff was incredibly supportive and reached out to me in a number of ways. They gave me a care package with treats for him and all kinds of other goodies for him too! It is obvious that everyone at the Eagle Animal Hospital loves animals and wants to help them be happy and healthy in any way they can. I cant say enough how much I appreciate the warm environment they provided. I felt so much better when I left!

The vets and staff at this office go above and beyond every time we visit. They truly care about our pets and are extremely knowledgeable. When we moved to the area, we interview and visited many different vet offices and happily selected this one. They showed incredible compassion and grace when caring for my cat of 17 years, and they genuinely seem happy to see our dog during every appointment. When we adopted a dog from a rescue, they all were instrumental in improving her health and socialization. Their PetPortal online service is perfect for viewing pet records and requesting appointments.

Dr. Matunis is such a special person. We have a very temperamental dog, to say the least, and Dr. Matunis is always so patient and clam with him. I have also brought my two baby mini lops to see him and he was so gentle with them. Being a fist time dog and bunny owner, sometimes I have questions or worry about what to look out for. The staff here is always so helpful and very honest. They know my dog on a first name basis (not sure if thats good or bad) which I really appreciate and they are always VERY accommodating. I have complete trust in Eagle Animal Hospital and would highly recommend them.
