We have been bringing all of our pets to Silver Maple for more than 20 years. Our First cat was a 3 week old kitten abandoned by her mother. It was a holiday weekend and non of the other local vets would call us back to help us on how to care for this tiny baby. Dr. Sam Yoder was the one that called us back even though we were not clients. We have been with them since, Sam helped us find our first dog to rescue. We have rescued several cats and dogs since and Silver Maple is still and always will be our trusted Vet Clinic. Everyone is very knowledgeable, pleasant and courteous. They are up with the new technologies and will work with you and keep you well informed. Someone mentioned about tests and price. Well if we go to the doctor we get tests done to be sure what is happening with us, without test how would you or the doctors know if your pet is being treated for the correct ailment? just like with humans symptoms can be several things sometimes. As far as price Silver Maple is in line with other area vets as far as I can tell from talking with other people. Sure you can find Vets that are cheaper sometimes but it is a matter of what sort of knowledge and technology do you want for your pet. In my opinion if you want great care for you fir babies and are looking for a friendly, knowledgeable Vet you need not look any father than Silver Maple.

After moving to Kutztown from Florida we had to find new vet care for our dog; unfortunately, quickly! We drove past Silver Maple several times and loved the name and the look of the place so when the time came I called and they got us in the same day, on a Monday no less! The staff, from the receptionist, to the nurse, to the tech to Dr. Mary Coughlin and all the way to the check out counter were all compassionate and friendly. They were so sweet to our girl Cora, she was scared, they made her relax, you could tell every one of them loved animals

Nice clinic, the girl at the desk is very nice. They have NO problem making you wait (overbooking?). I like the vet well enough, but every where I look, I see high overhead. Of course, this translates to high care costs. I have called on 3 separate occasions to see about boarding my dog, no one can ever answer at the kennel, and they have never called me back, so am guessing they dont need that business (and really, do I want to board my dog if no one is ever available?). The clinic seems to be operating under the "rule everything else out through lots of tests, THEN make a diagnosis". Call me old fashioned, but some things are just what they seem to be.... and some of us cannot afford all the extras.

I have known Doctors Sam and AnneMarie Yoder, the founders and owners of Silver Maple Veterinary Clinic for a long, long time. Soon after Sam graduated from college, he became our family farms large animal vet, so we were really excited when he was ready to open a small-animal practice, as well. I am happy to say that over the more than thirty years that we have known them, the quality of care and service has only increased. The doctors at the clinic are excellent, as are the animal techs and the office/reception staff. Everyone is always friendly and willing to help, no matter the situation. There simply is no other veterinary office that I would consider using.

From the moment my pet and I walked in the door to the moment we left, we were welcomed and loved. Even more important, though, is the excellent and thorough care received. They provided treatment, extensive education, prevention techniques, and true loving care. Because of the extensive expertise they have in both traditional and holistic treatments, options for caring for your pet are also extensive. I moved away from the area, and often consider driving the 2 hours it would take to go back to them, if I should have another serious issue with one of my pets. There is no vet in my new are that comes close to them.

Our experience and Silver Maple that nary clinic is always outstanding, the care and compassion that is afforded our three dogs is out of this world. I could not imagine and trusting my animals to any other that nary clinic in the area as from the moment I walked in with my dogs for their veterinary care it was a warm, caring and compassionate environment and obvious that the animals are there upmost priority. I cannot say enough for recommend Silver maple veterinary clinic for all of your veterinary needs

Silver Maple is a great place to take your pets. I came to them several years ago in an emergency situation and they helped me right away. I have been with them ever since. Dr Sam ans Annmarie Yoder are exceptional doctors that have a super support system in place. All the staff are warm and friendly. They make you feel you are part of their family. They love your pets as much as you do. If you are in the market for a new vet in the Kutztown and surrounding areas look no further than Silver Maple!!

The critter care Ive received through Silver Maple has always been exceptional. It is a clinic with expert doctors who have thought of everything. They have made great efforts to remain current on recent trends and always have both the animal and its owners best interest in mind. From acupuncture, to Care Credit, to "The Mooch Fund," they really are the epitome of perfection. Ive been a client for over fifteen years and I will continue to take my furry family there indefinitely.

As we were leaving the car to go into the clinic, a lady coming out commented "Aw, poor thing (meaning Molly, our chocolate lab.) They just know, dont they?" What she didnt realize is that Molly LOVES to go to Silver Maple, even after her many medical procedures. They love her too and treat us all professionally. They always work with us to give our critters the best treatment options. If someone asks for a veterinary recommendation, I always suggest Silver Maple.

I brought my dog Boots to Silver Maple for cruciate ligament surgery on referral. Dr. Yoder spent ample time with me and my family explaining the options and tried to treat Boots non surgically but without success. Boots is now 1 week post op from his fiberwire procedure and has several months recovery so I cannot report his outcome yet. I have been very happy with our dealings with Dr. Yoder and all of his staff. Silver Maple will be Boots vet from now on!

My expierences with Silver Maple Veterinary Clinic, were always welcoming by a very friendly staff along with the Veterinarings. Always were very efficient in taking care of the needs of my dog, at times if I made a phone call in the am they ususally tried to get me in the same day a little later, never did I have to wait long for an appointment.Would recommend Silver Maple Veterinary Clinic highly
