I have been going to General Booth Veterinary Hospital since it opened in 1991 and I have known Dr. Paul Francois for over 25 years. In all this time I have never considered taking my dogs anywhere else! I have always received the best care and service from the staff. They are always courteous as well as knowledgeable. Additionally, for the past 10 years I have been a volunteer puppy raiser for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. Dr. Francois donates 100% of his time and services for these special dogs to ensure that they get the care they need to become the best guide dogs possible for visually impaired individuals. Definitely shows he cares and has compassion for people as well as animals. General Booth Veterinary Hospital is also a very nice facility, beautiful building, great location, clean, and efficient.

I have been going to this hospital for the past three years and would never change. After going to several different local vets with mixed results, I was recommended to General Booth Vets and was astounded with the difference in quality of care for my two cats and dog. I have seen two different vets there and have been very impressed with their caring attitudes and knowledge. All the staff always seems very helpful and friendly. They even helped me carry my animals to the car. It is because of the doctors at this office that my dog is still with me. I have found them to always be honest, friendly and fair with me and I would highly recommend this office to anyone who cares about their animals.

I have had the pleasure of taking my Lab to General Booth Veterinary Hospital for years! They always take great care of her and give her lots of love and attention. I find it easy to schedule appointments, as they have early morning, late appointment times and Saturday hours. I also bring her once a month for a bath & to have her nails cut down and she seems so happy when she is there. I wouldnt go anywhere else! Thank you to all the staff for providing such great care and service!

Everytime I call for my girl, Maya who has Addition disease, Dr. Wood sees her immediately. We have 2 standard poodles, that Dr. Libby Wood-Stinson, makes feelcomfortable when they come into her office. She always does a follow up call to make sure things are going well. I ALWAYS feel comfortable with her treatment of my girls.

Best Veterinary Hospital in Virginia Beach. Dr. Sorrell has gone way above and beyond for my dogs. I cannot say enough about him and his staff. They love on my dog like he was their own. Ill never forget how great they were when we lost Indy. Bryan truly cares about animals and the lives they lead.

Full service! Grooming salon is patient with anxious pets. Boarding on site too. Vets and techs are kind and helpful. My doggies are not always friendly but they are always taken back to a room quickly. Excellent follow through with phone calls, emails and photos. Thanks for the coffee bar too!

My dog swallowed a toy. They had to remove a toy from my Shi Tzu. The Dr and staff were excellent. The surgery went well and the follow up from the Dr and staff was fantastic. They care about your pets as much as you do. I have never walked into a vet clinic and felt so at home as I do there.

This place is such a rip-off...went to another vet and was half the price for necessary surgery. I never realized I had been overpaying for years! Rude staff and greedy place. I will say the Dr was very kind but not worth paying more to see her. So long!

The staff is very friendly, we were served very quickly despite we did not have an appointment. The vet really took her time to examine our dog an was very clear and gave us very detailed explanations. I definitely recommend it!

This place was an absolute rip off. Two of my dogs needed their annual shots and it was over $400 ... I have never ever paid over $150 for shots at any other vet. I will never recommend or go back. Find a different vet.
