The entire staff is amazing but the vets are the best I have ever worked with. When they treat my dogs (4 of them 2 of which are rescues), it is as though they are treating their own pets. When one of my Westies damaged a ligament in his hind leg, the first vet we saw wanted to operate immediately and said she would, "...find out what was wrong when she was in there." At Nonantum, Dr. Manning examined Spike, asked about his mobility (can he climb stairs? Walk and run?) And he advised a conservative approach - wait and see - because surgery was more debilitating than the injury. Dr. Manning was right. Spike is back to fighting fit; we didnt have to pay $1500 for unnecessary surgery and our dog didnt have to suffer. The vets on staff offer practical advice; their first choice is NOT expensive drugs or surgeries. They are quietly and totally competent, taking action when its required but not rushing to pick up the scalpel. And they love animals. I wouldnt take my dogs anywhere else.

I absolutely love Nonantum! We switched our two dogs here after having some issues with a previous vet in the area approx. 4 years ago. They have a great collection of caring, compassionate vets that want nothing more than to see your pets healthy! They are very good at accommodating appointments to your schedule, and are a great help in emergencies. For instance, one of our pups was suddenly sick and needed to see a vet this weekend. They let us bring her in right away, and got her all fixed up. Prices are reasonable, and everyone is very friendly, including the techs and receptionists. Ive recommended Nonantum to many friends and neighbors, and everyone who has visited has been more than satisfied. A+ in my book!

This place is almost to good to be true. If you live far from this location, oh well then get in your car, put your time in the drivers set and do it! It WILL be WELL WORTH the ride and if you dont , you and your pet will miss out.Very caring and professional. Doctors and technicians that actually have bed side manner and it is exceptional. The pricing for my dogs knee surgery was a small fraction of what other places charge with outstanding service. If you really love you pet you will make the effort to go to this place. Thank You Nonantum for caring. You really are making a difference!

It is a 45 minute trip but unless a real emergency came up, my dogs have gone nowhere but Nonantum for the last three dog generations as well as numerous fosters. Many times they will try a non-invasive route first, Their vets are so experienced that they can often do a diagnosis on orthopedic problems as you walk the dog across the floor into the exam room. Yet they dont mind calling U of P if something looks suspicious. They know the best specialists and they cry with you when you have to send your buddy on.There is not a vet or tech there that I don;t respect and love.

Debbies gentle spirit, and love of animals are still the guiding forces that drive this wonderful group of professional people. 20 years ago I ran over our cat, backing up in our driveway at 5:30am on the way to visit family. I called her, heartbroken. She said come over right away. We had to put the cat down that morning. She was there for us. She will ALWAYS get our business!

I agree that the vets are the best Ive experienced. These people care. My foster went through an extensive surgery and they followed up with emails and calls to make sure she was OK. I ended up "foster-failuring" Emelia because her condition is too delicate to trust to just anyone. I am in love with her and I am in love with these vets! The prices are reasonable and they are good people.

Wonderful place, excellent service. Been taking our small dog here for 7+ years and love it - recommend it to anyone looking for a vet. I happily drive past several other vets on my way to this location for the top notch care for pets. Other vets pad the bill and recommend unneeded services, but I can always trust Nonantum to take the best possible care of my dog.

This is by far the BEST vet I have ever brought my pets to! I have 3 dogs and a cat & this vet does not over charge or does not take advantage of you by doing things to your pet that are not necessary. If your looking for an honest and fair priced vet look no further!
