My sister brings her dogs here and we LOVE Dr. B (aka dr. Purr). Shes so kind! I also love the vet techs here! They are very sweet and always helpful. However, sadly I must say I am less than thrilled with our recent visit (I am not personally a client but always go with my sister). There is a new vet tech, named Cindy and I remember her from the animal shelter AWSOM. My sister went there to adopt a dog and lets just say she was very rudely greeted by the vet tech (Cindy). I find it very distasteful that she is now working at Pocono Peak. I do not in any way intend to be negative, but we absolutely loved this veterinary office now we are seriously considering changing our vet, as well as other friends we have spoken too. I guess AWSOM final woke up and realized they had a bitter woman working for them and gave her the boot. Why Pocono Peak... Why? I wrote a review about a year ago and I was MORE than happy for give 5 stars its much deserved! And trust me had, Cindy, never been highered I would never leave this second review. Im sorry if this sounds cold, but honestly, please dont have her working for you. My sister as well as many others will be switching vets I hope that will urge you to keep ONLY humans who are kind to animals on your staff. Not someone who tells another he should have "left the kittens where they were because they are young, sick, and will probably die." Just saying. However, Dr. B your amazing! We miss coming to your office, such a shame!

I took my dog who having acute kidney failure. first the doctor said it was chronic due to "lyme disease" then when went to pick up the dog the nurse said it was acute. the antibiotics they prescribed are not even effective. they could have prescribe a stronger one. I dont even think they gave my dog fluids like they said. they Said they gave the dog fluids, but why then would you give the dog a shot IM if you are going to give an IV shortly. they took my money and did very little.The staff was friendly, that ill give them. when she family came home she was 20 times worse then when we took her there. I am extremely angry with the service and I will never take any of my animals there again.

My girlfriend and I brought our kitten Tiki here when we got her at around four weeks. Her mom was an outdoor/indoor cat so unfortunately she had fleas when we first got her. The vet and all the nurses loved her and told us all about the revolution product and it worked FANTASTIC. The Dr. has since been doing her vaccines, and we have been really happy with the service of the overall staff. The only reason we unfortunately wont get to use Pocono Peak is because we are relocating due to work. Otherwise, we would bring Tiki and any other pets in the future here in a heartbeat! HIGHLY recommend this vet.

My boyfriend and his family has always taken their animals there and they always said nice thing about them. However I just had my first experience there and its was better than anywhere in have been! We sadly had to put my cat down and they gave us a paw print with a piece of his hair which ment so much to the both of us. They go above and beyond! If its either getting a new animal or one has past they make sure you feel special and part of their family. Would recommend them to everyone and I will always bring my animals to them! Best place ever! Thank you so much at everyone at Pocono Peak!

After I brought home our new cockapoo puppy (that we named) "Prince", I noticed he wasnt feeling well. I looked up the symptoms and seemed that he had Kennel Cough". Great. I planned to take him to a Vet in a short time; but now needed to get him in right away. Even though we were new to Pocono Peak I was able to get him in the next day. Everyone was very nice. Prince did have a shot previously to purchase so he had a mild case. Its been two weeks and the given meds worked! My hubby and I were elated when we received from them a thoughtful card with numerous kind messages from their staff.

I am in love with everyone at this clinic. The nurses, receptionists, doctors. When they came into the room, they immediately sat on the floor with my dog. They played. They rubbed. The praised. Welcomed her with a pretty bandana. Gave her treats while vaccinating her. Every question or concern I had was listened to and addressed immediately with compassion and patience. I cant say enough about this clinic.

Highly recommended! Staff very knowledgable, caring and friendly. Dog ate mouse poison, upon arrive staff was ready and waiting for us to treat the dog immediately. Saved our dog from a potential life threatening incident, we were on our way in less than an hour and fees were very reasonable.

I dont like how they set there things up they should be able to tell people prices on how much would it be just for a check up and other things i called one time just ask how much would it be and they couldnt even tell me that or how much the shots would be like they REALLYY need to change

What I love most about the PEAK practice is the obvious care you all display for Bill and I and for our beloved(corny, I know) pets. Each one has meant so much to us and you all recognize that and treat us accordingly. I wish my docs staff liked people as much as you all like animals.
