I have used Colmar Vet for my puppy and my older cat. Both times, it was an emergency and Dr. Platt took us in right away. With my puppy, they were actually closed when I called and I was told, come right in. Dr. Platt and Melissa were so efficient and loving with Abby when I brought her in. With my cat, Sammy, he became very ill in a matter of two days, losing half his body weight. Again, on a Saturday just before closing, I was told, come right in! Again, Dr. Platt and Melissa were awesome! They kept Sammy for the weekend and both continued to check in on him hourly. I will never go anywhere else. I got updated texts constantly. The staff there is very knowledgeable and caring. Thanks to Colmar Vet and the awesome staff, Sammy is doing great! I will never go anywhere else!!!!

Dr. Platt is a fantastic vet and we would recommend her to anyone. When we had our puppy, Moxie spayed by her, we ended up needing to have the stitches removed at another vet hospital, and the vets there actually commended on how nice of a job Dr. Platt had done. She has helped us resolve several other issues with Moxie – from tapeworm, to a swallowed sock, to an allergic rash. She takes her time with her patients, and it’s clear that she really cares about them – she even gave us a tip on how to teach Moxie to “shake” hands with her paw when we first got her! She not only makes us feel extremely confident in her to help us take the best care possible of our dog, but we genuinely enjoy going to her, and Moxie actually starts wagging her tail every time she sees her - which says it all.

Dr. Platt & her staff are the best! Not only my opinion, but my two Cane Corso Kaia & Samson feel the same way too! They honestly are really happy to be around her during their visits. I just moved to Colmar from out of state, and had two dogs with health issues. After first contact, Dr. Platt offered to come out for a house call! She was prompt & took the time with me to explain what was wrong with my dogs. Aswell as the best treatment for them. She had my dogs feeling better within 24 hrs. It made me realize all the things my old vet wasnt doing to help them.. From bad allergic frantic scratching, to an inner ear injury, & a UTI. Its all in a days work for Dr. Platt. I highly recommend Colmar Veterinary Hospital to anyone seeking the very best care in a facility that is amazing.

Thank you so much to Dr. Platt and her team at Colmar Veterinary Hospital! My one year old beagle / lab mix needed immediate help, and after calling Dr. Platt she arranged to see us within a few hours. They explained every step of the process from evaluation to treatment and on-going care and were incredibly kind and supportive throughout the process. At other vet practices Ive felt like the vets are rushed and get annoyed at answering questions, but that is not at all the case with Dr. Platt. She clearly cares about the health and well-being of each of her animal patients and demonstrated her extensive experience and expertise. Im glad to know shes available if and when its needed again. Thank you very much!

I was curious about this place. When checking in, its a very clean facility from what I could see. But I was bombarded with coupons and referral cards and specials and sales and this and that and it was like my god, can I just check in & sit down! It seemed like a desperate attempt to gain business. There is 1 woman at the front desk who seems very incompetent. When scheduling the appointment, she completely booked it for the wrong day. Once that was cleared up, she also scheduled my follow up appointment on the wrong day. She spelled my name wrong, spelled my pets name wrong & almost charged me for the wrong service. So well go back to Dr. Tamas.

Moved to Lansdale in July, adopted a puppy a week ago. Colmar Vet fit me in the day after I picked up my puppy...Had an appointment for 7pm, was seen promptly, and didnt leave there until 8:15, and that is far from a complaint!!!- Dr. Platt and Melissa were SO thorough, took their time, went over so many different things with us, addressed all concerns and questions and I couldnt be happier with the new facility. Great place, highly recommended, Mea wont be seen by anyone else!

Love this vet! Everyone on staff is very attentive to everyone that walks in and they make sure they acknowledge you are there, even if things are busy. One of the things that stands out to me the most is how caring they are to all pets. They handle them like their own and, to someone who thinks of their cats and their kids, that means a lot! Thank you for always taking such great care of our kitties.

A pleasant experience for my cat and I. She got her yearly shots, a full exam, and grooming (Lion Cut). The doctor, technician, and groomer were all extremely pleasant, comforting and put us at ease by answering all of our questions, being gentle with my cat, and being polite and friendly. I was very impressed with Dr. Platt, and her team. All in all, an A+.

I have two dogs....one that can be very difficult and one that is terrified of the vet and can become slightly defensive/aggressive when fearful......all three of my experiences at Colmar vet were absolutely outstanding.....and my dogs love it there. The staff is caring, knowledgeable, accommodating and professional. I highly recommend them to everyone I know.

Dr Platt and her staff are fantastic! I cannot say enough good things about the wonderful care they provide my 15 year old golden retriever. We have already been to see them numerous times due to my dogs various aliments and have even used their fantastic grooming services. I would not go anywhere else!

We had a wonderful experience with Dr. Platt and all of the staff! They took their time getting acquainted with my dog before beginning the examination and took the time to explain everything. I didnt feel rushed, as I often do at other veterinarians. Highly recommended, will be returning!
