First of all, Gateway is the reason that my cat got really sick and died. Dr. Amy Brenner (sp?) looked at my cat back in Feb when I noticed that he had what looked like a rash all over his body and very red ears. She told me it was nothing and gave me some ear drops. A month later my cat was in the ER at the 24 hour emergency care of Gwynedd in Lansdale (highly recommend). It turned out that he had lymphoma and died three months later. Recently we adopted 2 new kittens from a rescue and we wanted to bring them in to see Amy and they refused us an appointment saying that they were "booked solid for months." The receptionists are really rude, unfriendly, and the place overall just is small and dirty and I did not like it at all whatsoever. I do not recommend this place and in fact I think it should get checked out. We have since moved out pets to a different practice in the area.

Having had pets for the last 25 years, by FAR, my best veterinary experience has been with Gateway Animal Hospital. In New Jersey, I had one great vet that retired, then many years with two different vets that I dreaded every visit. They nickel and dimed you for every little pinch, prod or poke and always under-quoted the price of procedures like cyst removal, hernia repair, and urine checks. the vets rushed you out the door and the front desk staff left much to be desired. From their courteous front desk staff, pleasant environment, wonderful vets and fair pricing, I cannot say enough about them. Whether it is a question, a call because of a concern, or just a regular check up, they are always willing to speak to you and make you not feel rushed.

I absolutely LOVE Gateway Animal Hospital. Our family has been taking our four-legged family members there for years. They are thorough and exceptionally caring. My dog Sage recently had a stroke and things looked pretty dim. One of the vets (who is absolutely amazing, Amy) helped Sage and the rest of our family through the crisis and Sage has recovered as well as any 13 year old puppy could :) The practice has a great staff, is incredibly supportive, and had a vast and outstanding knowledge of animals. I wouldnt trust any other Vet with the care of my little loved ones. I cant recommend it highly enough.

Ive been bringing all of our pets to Gateway Animal Hospital for the past 25 years. Ive moved twice during that time and it would be more much more convenient for me to find a vet closer to my area, but I dont think I could find the consistantly excellent care that our animals have received. The Doctors are wonderful, the staff are friendly and caring, and their new location is very nice. As you can imagine, 25 years of pets would bring many different illnesses and issues. Without exception, every one of these were treated properly and with great care. Wish they could move closer to Chester Springs!

We are new to the practice. After checking out vets in the area and also going to 2 different vet offices so far, we are relieved to find Gateway Animal Hospital. Weve gone to vet offices where everyone just attempts to sell us everything under the sun and charge an arm and a leg for office visit fees. Gateways atmosphere is very laid back and they do not harass us to buy all different kinds of stuff. They are also very reasonable with their office visit fees and Dr. Shelly is great. She actually takes the time to discuss stuff and help us with solutions to our issues and concerns as new pet owners.

The staff and doctors at Gateway are fantastic. Any time Ive had an issue - emergency or routine - they have been friendly, courteous and most importantly: knowledgeable. They really seem to care about their patients and overall the prices for their services are very reasonable. Theyre also very accommodating with special requests - for example my dog had a lot of issues accepting shots and they figured out to use a smaller needle and now he doesnt even flinch. The two times Ive had emergency situations they were able to get us right in and diagnose and treat the issues.

This is the best animal hospital in the area. All the docs are wonderful as are the staff. I think they know every pet by name. Its never hard to get an appointment and if your pet is sick they will get him in that day most of the time.My dog recently passed on and he lived much longer than the average years for his breed. They were sincerely sorry for my loss and did everything they could to make it easier for me including a sympathy card. Go there and youll never need another vet.

The staff at Gateway cared for Yoda, one of our cats for several years, helping him through several illnesses. Sadly, we had to have him put to sleep two weeks ago. While we miss the little guy, we cant help but appreciate the extra years that the staff at Gateway gave to him. In the end, they were very compassionate and caring, even sending us a condolence card. We are thankful for all that they have done for our family and highly recommend this veterinary clinic. Thank you.

We have been taking all of our furry family members to Gateway for about 12 years now. They have been compassionate, helpful, and friendly and the charges have always been reasonable. Instead of pushing expensive meds, procedures, or special products, I have always been given an explanation of the options and pros & cons to make the best decision for our pets. This is a wonderful, knowledgable and caring group of vets and staff - highly recommended.

Been going since 2004 for three dogs. Friendly, flexible, understanding, and always do what is best for my dogs. My female passed away about two years ago. I had a hard time for the longest time. Dr Walker is as good to my dogs as to me. Really helped me go through it. And, for working with my 20 lb aggressive dog all the time is something special. I am so glad he is not getting kicked out! Real happy to be going here.

Dr. Amy Brenner is so great with our pets. My parents, my sisters and myself take our little loved ones to Amy. She is gentle and patient with our pets, she answers all our questions and always takes great care with every visit. The new office is beautiful and we love the bird in the lobby.

We have been using Gateway for almost 9 years now and could not be happier with them. The front desk is very friendly and helpful, the doctors take the time to explain all options and possibilities to you clearly, and they listen to your opinion. We would not take our dogs anywhere else.

I have been bringing my dog to Dr. Brenner for two and a half years. She is an excellent vet, very caring and helpful. Even though I recently moved about a half hour away, I still think the trip is worth it to ensure my dog is taken care of by a wonderful professional.
