I HATE the wait at this hospital so bad!! The amount of people who goof off and obviously do not need ER care just drives me crazy, when there is obvious people who need something and they have to sit and watch them goof around and act just fine!! *** With that being said, I will go there because I trust and like all the Dr.s. Care is excellent and the nurses are great. I was just in last night and had the experience of meeting Dr. Landis. He is a very nice, caring gentleman who defiantly deserves a shout out!! My nurse was so caring as well, Toni?? Once I was back getting treatment it moved along very well. I actually was very impressed with Dr. Landiss choice to call my GYN and talk directly with him before I got discharged which turned into me actually having a talk on the er phone with Dr. Oken before I left. What an impressing moment that was. Such nice people working in the ER. A big thank you to all of you. My babies were born there and I would not choose another place.

An old spinal injury flared up and was making breathing very difficult. My PCPs office sent me to the ER. After 3 hours of wheezing in the waiting room I get lectured on how this is something for my PCP to deal with, not the ER. I explain that they were the ones who sent me to the ER in the first place, so they start telling me that it wasnt possible to be in pain because there are no nerves in a persons back. I was then given a page on back sprains, told to ice it, and followed out by security. Since your medical staff is unaware, here is an illustration of the nervous system. RE: Hello Owner, I believe I made it quite clear that your nurses have no concept of basic human anatomy. If you need me to tell you what to do next, it would seem you need help operating your business. I can offer my business consultation services. I have 15 years experience in business ownership, management, research and development, customer relations, and work flow improvement. $500/hr.

If I could give zero stars I would but I have never eccountered a worse hospital in my life. They neglected my grandmother so much so that they didnt bother to change her outfit or even wipe her down with wipes for over 2 weeks. And then it was only done because we had to request it. REQUEST IT. WE HAD TO REQUEST HER PROPER CARE. AND THEN SHE ONLY GOT IT AFTER FIGHTING WITH THE NURSES. This hospital made going to see her a pity. I have never been so disgusted with a care facility in my whole life. This hospital was a disappointing and disgusting excuse for a hospital.

Went there with pain in left side of chest. Doctor would not listen to me when I told him the Nitro Paste had taken the pain away. As soon as the patch with the Nitro Paste was removed the pain returned. He insisted it did not take the pain away because the pain was not related to my heart. He gave me a prescription for Vicodin, which I did not use. They were supposed to call me for a stress test appointment within 24 hours, I have not heard from them and its days later. Went to Holy Spirit for further treatment.

ATTENTION TO ALL PREGNANT FEMALES. IF YOU HAVE ANY EMERGENCY WITH YOUR PREGNANCY DO NOT GO TO THIS EMERGENCY ROOM. THEY DONT CARE FOR YOU OR YOUR PREGNANCY. I WAITED 5 HOURS EVEN WHEN I WAS THERE BECAUSE I WAS BLEEDING FOR 2 DAYS. WHEN I ASKED FOR A MANAGER, SINCE I BEEN WAITING TOO LONG, THEY CALLED THE SECURITY GUARD AND TOLD ME TO GO TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL IF I CANT WAIT. THEYRE BRUTAL.... PLEASE GO TO ANOTHER HOSPITAL IF YOU WANT YOU UNBORN CHILD TO LIVE.

I had both of my kids at Harrisburg Hospital and had a good experience both times. The first time was a bit rough, but it was childbirth! The second time was fantastic. I had a good anesthesiologist and support staff, as well as good nurses. Ive had some bad experiences with other hospitals in the area, so Harrisburg Hospital is definitely my first choice.

My 94 year old mother with moderate/severe dementia needed emergency room care yesterday, 2/6/16 due to a wound on her hand. The ER physician, Dr. Miller and nurse, Katie, were compassionate, patient and treated my mother with dignity and sensitivity throughout the entire process. I want to thank them for their professionalism and empathy.

So far been here seen 7pm. Its now 4.5 hrs later and they finally did registration at 3 hours in. Check in cant tell you how long the wait is because it protocol. For as many hours we are here we couldve went else where. Amazing no one died waiting in this ERoom. Very poor service and slow as hell doctors. Poor, poor and poor!!!!!!

Very bad hospital.. My mom has been in and out without them finding whats wrong with her. She has major heart problems and breathing problems likes shes under water what do they do send her home.... So take yourself to Hershey, cause they care about their patients....
