I had just selected this office as my HMO primary care physician. I called the next day with an urgent problem (back,neck, head pain). The receptionist kept me on hold and was impatient with me. She told me they would not see me for four days. I had taken off of work and needed to be seen right away. The receptionist questioned as to why I wasnt going to the ER. The ER is expensive, and I wanted to be seen in the doctors office. I had to contact my benefits office to switch doctors. I have no desire to ever go this one.

I have no complaints with the exception of the new front desk employees. I agree the receptionist is less than helpful. Makes you feel like you are wasting her time. If she does not know the answer she will not go out of her way to find it. Too bad this is the new face of an otherwise excellent practice.

I see Dr. McLane and have found the he is very thorough, has a great demeanor-is very easy to talk to. He listens to me and gets all of the information before deciding on a plan of action. He makes referrals to specialists appropriately.
