Dr. Qarni must have had a VERY bad day on November 4th, 2014. I scheduled an appointment for 5:30 p.m. after a car accident (I was told there would be no wait). Upon waiting for a half hour in the waiting area, I was worried that Id be late to teach a 7 p.m. class, but wanted to see "my doctor". As I waited, Id asked the receptionist if I could use the office phone to confirm the accident/ claim number (requested by the nurse). My cell phone, as usual, needed to be charged. The agent wanted to discuss more about the accident. I placed the agent on hold as I preceded to the examination room. While the nurse examined me, I continued the hold, explaining to her what I was doing, not not wanting to interfere with her work. As she departed I continued discussing the accident with the agent on phone in the examination room and also called a colleague to confirm that I would be late to teach a class. When Qarni came in the room at about 6:45 p.m. he said that I should not be on the phone. I smiled thinking he was joking. He snatched the phone from my hand and told me that patients couldnt make personal phone calls in the patient room. I was shocked. I never saw this disposition from the doctor Ive sent so many to and have seen for more than five years. Patient, doctor interactions should not be this way. I packed my things and walked out of the examination room, deciding that, that would be my last time visiting. No longer referring people to his practice and preparing them for this disposition. I was NOT seen for my injuries by Dr. Qarni. My health, injury should have been his main concern but apparently he was fixated with the phone. Needless to say I visited Patient First in White Marsh. For poor cell phone owners like myself, they have a phone in the waiting area for patient use. There was a healthy and friendly exchange between myself and all of the medical staff. I was given a compact, thorough examination and left knowing exactly why I was experiencing pain after what I thought was a minor fender bender. Patient First is in, Dr. Qarni is out! I hope he revisits the Hippocratic Oath. He far from adhered to it on this day.

I rate Dr. Qarni as "Excellent". He is an excellent physician, he treats his patients as friends, with all of the patients that he has, he remembers specific things about them and asks how they are doing. When asked for referrals for procedures that he doesnt do, I have always been totally satisfied with the physicians to whom I have been referred. I never have to wait very long to see him when I have gone to an appointment, no more than 5 - 10 minutes. I have totally trusted him to make decisions, and he always explains the procedures that he has to do and answers questions that I ask more than satisfactorily. His staff is excellent, and very professional and also helpful. I moved out of the state, and if I had not done that, I would still be his patient.

I concur with the review below. Dr. Qarni is one of those rare doctors who actually cares. Everything he says he is going to do he does and the time he takes is what the norm should be. I have been to different doctors, both primary and specialists. There are not many, if any that Ive been to who are that connected with the patients.

The facility is kind-of cruddy and the wait is always longer than expected. But Dr. Qarni is damn good. I wont go in-depth, but Im willing to go thru the mediocre-at-best circumstances of his practice, to receive his care. Hope this helps.

I went today for my first visit! The staff was very personal and professional. I would recommend that Dr qarni was very patient and helped me with all my concerns . I also liked to add my son was also pleased with his first visit also.
