Recently me and my wife found an abandoned kitten in South Connellsville. She was in very bad shape. It looked as though someone tossed this poor kitten out the window. We brought her home and cleaned her up. We waited till the vet opened the next morning (Garys veterinarian clinic in Lemont furnace ) and took her straight there. The vet there was unwilling to help unless we paid $300 for her services. (Not even a payment plan with them) other then we could apply for a credit company to pay the bill. We told them we didnt have the funds and the vet just said well we can put her down for $100 (I thought vets were supposed to help animals?) we denied putting her to sleep and had to pay a bill 87 for talking to the vet (consultation they said). Later we turned to Facebook where we found a vet in Maryland willing to nurse the kitten back to good health free of charge. On the way there unfortunately the kitten had passed away. She was never giving a chance at Garys vet clinic someone who claims to be about animals.

I brought my cat there recently. It was an emergency and I was able to get him into an appointment within a hour of calling. My big boy 21 pound cat was having hemeaturia. They assessed him and explained multiple possibilities of what the cause was. They offered x-rays, blood work etc and didnt force me into anything. They gave me sample food and reasons why my cat needed it. At first I was not too keen about it and now realize my big boy may need to lose 5 to 8 pounds. They were very professional and showed me his x-rays of his bladder. I want to thank the staff for being so kind and not taking advantage of me. For caring for my furbaby and being so highly educated. I am a repeat customer and wanted to leave good feedback that they deserve!

I adopted a going on 12 yr old greyhound/husky mix. He had two lumps removed and while he was under they found three more and took them off plus cut his nails took time to do that extra stuff without extra charge. I will always be a customers for as long as I have pets. There is a vet closer to me about 25 min closer but I like to go where I feel my dog is getting the best care. all three dogs and my two cats go to Geary. They do care about our pets and us!

Been my Vet for 15 yrs. Very personal to owner & pet Dr Gary treats my pets as humans and Dr Jankins as been there since he was in highschool as an aide. The staff is top notch to say the least. Ten stars!!!!!!!

I have taken every singe one of my dogs here and they are always professional and also very affordable!!!Give them a try I mean I travel almost a hour one way to take my dogs there so yeah its good!

Briefly went here until finding a different vet. Hardly ever seen by Geary but perhaps vets in training. Always a long wait with a crowded waiting room. Staff at desk and vet techs were nice.
