Emergency room was good, I Noticed a hard working and professional staff. I was admitted and so far the nurses are OK, some a little bit in a rush, leaving behind bags / boxes when unpacking medical supplies and stuff. After meeting Dr. McDonalds, I must say that he is just such a nice, compassionate and carrying doctor, sadly this qualities have disappears through the years in other doctors. But he still is that Dr. That puts you at ease and makes you feel you are cared for. Well, today I was able to edit this review note, So, I was in the hospital for 3 days. I also met Dr. Lent which is an awesome and excellent doctor as well, we were very satisfied. I learned more about other Nurses, Nurse aids, Registered nurses and so on, such as Justina, Heather, Sonia R., Amy, Amanda, Rachel, Rahel they were all very nice, friendly, personable and hard working women. They make your stay and recovery in the hospital, to be a positive one. But, they assigned Wendy to be my nurse, wish I could say something good; but I cant, there is nothing indicating that she loves what she does, she might have other reasons to be on the medical field, but I dont think there is a desire to make others feel good, there is no warmth in her smile or what so ever, But I guess the other staff compensates for what she lacks. So that worked out. Thanks again Dr. McDonalds and Dr. Lent. I feel better and had many concerns taken care of. Keep doing and being who you are. EXCELLENT.

I went to the Heart of Lancaster Womens Health to have my baby and I had the absolute worst experience!! I thought I was going to have a wonderful experience seeing as I went to tour the hospital and took their Labor and Delivery classes. Dont let mccormick midwife deliver your baby!! she bruised my perfectly healthy babys head during the birth. It caused him to have Jaundice and it got worse and I had to stay extra long in the hospital. While in there the nurses overheated my baby in the incubator 3 times!! His temperature was 101!! They are very unreliable and do not go with Eden Park pediatrics.. The pediatrician was horrible and didnt help my baby what so ever! I had a horrible experience and was a wreck during my stay!! There is plenty of more problems I had with this hospital that I dont have the patience to write! This was my first pregnancy and I will never ever go there again!!!!!!

Been here 3 times, extremely satisfied with each visit. While other hospitals would take hours for anything to happen, the Heart of Lancaster has done the job quickly and efficiently. See a doctor within 20 minutes of showing up, already have blood drawn and an IV in by then as well. Leave in 2-3 hours. The ER doctors know when something isnt in their realm of expertise, unlike other hospitals where a "Doctor" will Google something and give you tips from the first result page as if they learned it in medical school and they remember it. It really is a good experience here, though I hear on busy days, things get pretty bad, and care is affected. Keep that in mind if you plan to come here. Update: Theres an Indian doctor that works in the ER. Hes the WORST DOCTOR EVER. Be warned. Changing the review to 3 stars. Its that bad.

Came in at 9:00pm with my mother having extreme abdominal pain. She was hurlying some liquid as a bad reaction to a new prescription. As my mother screamed of pain not one medical personnel showed up until I treaten to walk out by 10:15pm. Not even did the registered nurse bother to help my mother when she was coughing profusely. The doctor passed by our room 7 times (looking several times inward) and never bothered to see his patient or assist me in taking care of my mother in his own clinic. Needless to say; I will never set foot in this place again, let alone refer it. After two anti-naussia shots and two IV bags we were off (at 2:15am). Disappointing specially when they sure like to charge more than the rest.

I was there on 10/15 for a blood test and it was not the best experience. The nurse used the same needle for both arms. She couldnt get blood from one arm so she had to use my other arm. I called and complained and the head of the lab said that she talked to the nurse and the nurse told the head of the lab that she would never do that. My mother was with me and watched the nurse use the same needle. My mother would never make up something like that. I dont appreciate them basically calling my mother a liar. I will not be going here for future blood tests.

this hospital has the best customer service any hospital ever could have, I live in Lancaster City on the other side of town and I will drive out to the hospital just because of the service. Dr Palmer in the ER is wonderful. hes a very compassionate doctor and I can tell he loves what he does. never again will I go to Lancaster General this hospitals ER gets you in an out as fast as possible, theres very rarely ever a wait time. overall best emergency room ever!

Wound Healing Center. They diagnosed a non wound problem ( it was an irritation near a wound that was healing), I thought it was wound related. They gave me cream. It healed in 3-4 days. I dealt with it for a long time before that, thinking it would clear up. I called to reschedule my follow-up, they said, if its healed, you dont have to come in. They could have scooped up the follow up money, instead they were honest. A good experience.

We came into their ER around 1:20, and didnt see the doctor until 2:20. And, then when he came into the room he was only in for 5 minutes and left. Then over an hour later we finally were discharged, and as we were walking past the desk noticed the doctor playing on his cell phone. Would I ever go back or recommend this hospital to someone else? That answer is NO

Their ER used to be wonderful, but after the passing of Dr Palmer it is not up to the same quality. My daughter left in more pain than when she arrived. The doctor was busy on his cell phone and not at all interested in helping. This used to be our go to ER and lab but no longer will we be using them. Caring and compassion are gone.

My wife just had our 2nd child here. Again top notch and the staff from midwives to housekeepers are always the best. Their knowledge and dedication for women giving birth really shines through. Would never go anywhere else.

Absolutely fantastic hospital! ER is fast & has done an incredible job over the years for our family! Have yet to have a single problem, and weve had multiple tests, ER visits, emergency surgery & two 2 week stays...
