For 20 years I went here and not to many issues..some but not many...but one doctor in particular kept me coming back, after she passed away, I think my eyes were wide open To the personalities of the staff and the "what do I care" bedside manner. I ran out of leg pills (I never let them ruN out but it got by me this time!) So the pharmacy requested a refill but was told I would have to see them first. I expected this was the case but without insurance, I cant. I figure its just a leg pill, they will call it in. First person on the phone tells me, "okay Ill send a request back to the doctor. TIme passes and I call back, the 2nd person tells me she needs to check on what is going on and puts me on hold! She comes back only to tell me they are on lunch and will call me back (the second time I was told that and no one called) By now I have been up well over 32 hours. Call back frustrated and yes I do get snippy, Im not telling or calling names, Im just tired physically and tired of being lied to. She tells me shes not going to listen to me because this is the first time she spoke to me and doesnt want my tone - 1. Doesnt matter who I spoke with, you took the responsibilty of the whole team when you agreed to work there. 2 you work in the Healthcare industry, if you dont have patience then Id say you chose the wrong profession..I imagine a lot of people call in there agitated because they are sick, in pain, or font appreciate being ignored! Any way this THIRD person tells me it will take 24-48 hours to call in my script??? Really care a lot for your patients dont you? Didnt offer me a few for the next day or two and I bet disnt try to hard to find out if it could be quicker. I am now on 48 hours and no sleep...how can they honestly not care??? The doctor I had would have NEVER just brushed me off like this if I had been this way and knew I needed to sleep. I have been wanting to leave, well this is the last straw. Why would I chance ever being ill, hurt, or im the situation I am now in and trust them to POSSIBLY care uh the future. there is still a great doctor but I never see her anyway! For this to the a health clinic or certainly doesnt show any concern!

I used to enjoy going to Pinnacle Health, but my recent experiences with them have not been pleasant. A while ago they sent a small bill that I had to the collections agency and I never even realized I had a bill! My last visit I updated my address with them, but not once did they send me a bill in the mail or contact me on the phone. I guess they contacted my parents house, but I have no idea why since they had my information and I do not live in Mechanicsburg anymore. Today I called to leave a message for Dr. Thompson to call me because I wanted to speak with him directly about a question I had. Did he call me back? No, he had someone else do it. I know you are busy, but so am! Please do not waste my time. It would have much easier to have just spoken to him directly instead of a relayed message. He also suggested I find a doctor in my area, which is fine and I did so since I do not plan on returning to Pinnacle Health. But I also have the option to choose whichever medical facility I would like to go. It was just really disappointing.

The doctors here are great so that is what the extra star is for. Other wise it would be one star. No one ever answers the phone. I could be the only person waiting and they would still take 20 minutes OR LONGER to answer. That is ridiculous. How long does it take to answer a call, schedule their appointment, and then take the next call? Apparently forever. Really need to train the employees how to take phone calls faster or higher more people.

One poor experience can be forgiven; two is obviously an indicator of the service. I had to pay a copay for a visit that was less than 5min to review results I could have been told over the phone. Second the doctor wrote me a script which requires peauth before it can be filled-11days later it still isnt done!

Dr. Sharma has been my doctor for several years-she asks pertinent questions, gives great advice and is a pleasure to meet with. The staff is great too. I would HIGHLY recommend this practice for anyone looking for a caring, efficient medical practice.

Nice doctors.. but the office manager will try to screw you by over billing and coding their billing to max their profit. Beware!
