I couldnt agree more with the other reviewers. I would not recommend this place to anyone! After two years of going there, and sending our children there as well, our overall experience was terrible. The overwhelming majority of the staff there makes it seem we (the patients) are bothering them and/or are a nuisance, we experienced terrible customer service several times, and on multiple occasions when talking with staff on the phone and doctors in person, they were blatantly rude to us. In general it seems staff their is more concerned about just putting in the time and leaving for the day than they are genuinely helping and listening to their patients. Also dont be fooled, they might be part of the over-arching Wellspan organization, but that doesnt seem to mean anything to them. They operate as if they are in their own self-contained silo and god forbid you go see a specialist from their organization (Wellspan) but at a different local facility, because they simply disregard that doctors notes and make your life as a patient a living hell. As a fair warning, pick some other place to be seen and develop a doctor/patient relationship if at all possible!

Well today I called VGFM to set up an appointment. I have been using VGFM for 20+ years. I only go when needed. Now that I am getting older I decided to get checked out. Wanted to get my blood pressure and cholesterol checked out. I was told that they needed to submit a request to the provider in order set up an appointment. Why I asked! A: Your last visit was over 3 years ago so your now considered a new patient and they are not accepting new patients at this time. So your telling me Im a new patient but you have my medical recorders. Ok I total understand that! Not! Never had a problem before with VGFM but how you treat patients or new patients as they would say, says a lot about VGFM. Asked to speak with someone twice about their policy but no luck. Very Disappointing.

This place is very rude every single time I have had to deal with them which is miserable because you go to the doctor when you are having an issue and most places want to fix your issues, this place seems to want to just make them worse! They "treated" me for an issue I had and the medicine wasnt strong enough to completely cure me and when I returned to be seen again for the same issue the following week they told me I had to go to an urgent care center for my issue when it was as simple as upping my dosage of antibiotics. Why would I ever have to go to an urgent care center when they already started treating me for something so simple??? Just flat out rude and lazy because it wouldve been more work on their day, LIKE ITS NOT THEIR JOB TO DO OR SOMETHING!?

With all the negative reviews, I needed to respond. My family has been going to Valley Green for nearly 10 years. During that time, we have found the office to be responsive, helpful, and thorough. To me, the most important factor in a family doctor is trust and relationship. Jennifer Miller has been terrific and has developed a good rapport with our family. My 8 y/o son actually looks forward to going to the office. The nurses and Mrs. Miller always ask about him even when hes not with us. In addition, they remember him and his interests. I appreciate the straight talk Mrs. Miller gives and is very easy to discuss any issues. She is there to help us, not entertain us. I value her opinion and would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

I am surprised to see so many negative reviews about VG Family Medicine. I have been going there for well over 15 years and have never had a negative experience. Before I logged on to their site, I was able to get appointments relatively quickly. Now, with on line accessability, I can set up my own appointment if needed. The staff has always been friendly, professional, and willing to listen when necessary. Dr. Develin has been my family doctor since Dr. Stouffer retired and I have nothing but good things to say about him. I have never experienced any of the negatives noted by other reviewers. I would recommend Valley Green to anyone needing a family physician.

My mother, husband and I have been going to this practice before it was Wellspan, so for along time. I admit I was concerned when the practice changed and our long time PCP retired. My concerns were for naught. Dr. D and staff have been very supportive and spend as much time as needed to address any concerns. He has initiated referrals for several specialist when he felt they were needed and did not hesitate if the request came from us and it was an appropriate request. Our experiences at this practice have been positive. Dr. D stays informed and can discuss current information readily and comfortably. He contacts other physicians involved with your care as needed.

I have been a patient I believe for more than 10 years. I have always had professional, courteous, a friendly service. I was disappointing, though, when I called to make an appointment for my son (19yrs) who was having issues with recent illness that did not appear to be completely exiting his system. I was told that the facility is not taking any new patients. That was it. No suggestions or referrals. Then I was asked if there was anything else they could do for me? Unfortunately, I find myself in a position where I believe I need to find a family practice that can accommodate my entire family. Sorry Valley Green....Now, you may soon have room for a new patient.

This is the worst experience with a doctors office I have ever experienced. Despite being a patient here for several years, they denied to write my prescription for my chronic asthma. I cannot BREATHE without my medication and (not realizing they would deny my prescription for no reason) I waited until my prescription was up before asking for a new one. Now I do not have my medication, I cannot breathe, and I am left frantically searching for a new doctor (urgent care centers dont prescribe chronic medication) before I have to be hospitalized due to inability to breathe. What kind of doctor would do this to someone?

Dont go to this place, they do not care about their patients, they do not listen to their patients, and they make assumptions without testing. It is really hard to get through their phone system at least 30 minute wait They never call you back on the number you tell them to. If they call you back at all. they never address your issues and they get nasty when you ask them to address your issues. They will send you for unnecessary testing and never call you back with results. Do go here you will regret it. 0 stars for these guys!

I didnt find that the staff in general cared about my well being. We always got Mrs. Miller who is NOT a doctor (no offence intended) when an actual doctor should be seen. My entire family has had negative experiences there. My latest was a refusal for a pretty employment tb test. I rarely leave negative reviews but my friend had an appointment recently and said it was a waste of their time and no help.
