This is the best Veterinarian Ive ever taken any of my babies to. Ive been going here for 10 years and without a doubt they are the most compassionate, understanding and beautiful people Ive ever met. When I moved to my current residence, I thought I might change to the Vet who is only 7 minutes away. I have gone there twice, and although they are nice, they dont have the compassion that New Stanton Vet Service does and I will not change. Where I lived previously, there was a vet only 5 minutes away, that I wouldnt refer my worst enemy to. Its a shame that Dr. Revelts popularity and the caring nature of the entire staff means that they do not take new patients a lot, but to hold this against them in a review on their practice is just insane. As someone else asked, would you want to wait months to get in? I was very lucky to get in with them when I did 10 years ago and I wouldnt trade them for ANYTHING!! I cant speak highly enough about the staff and Vets at this office and if youre lucky enough to get in, Im sure you will feel the exact same way!!

In transit from Philadelphia to St. Louis for my mothers funeral, my dog developed a painful ear infection the night we stayed in a hotel in New Stanton. The next morning we went to nearby New Stanton Veterinary Service and I explained his problem and asked if he could be seen. The receptionist said "We arent taking new patients." I explained that he would need only 5 minutes and no follow-up since we didnt live in the area. "We arent taking any new patients," she repeated. I put on my best smile and replied "Thank you so much for your compassion and help in making my dog well." "Youre welcome" was her answer. The Veterinary Oath says, in part, "I solemnly swear to use my scientific knowledge and skills for the benefit of society through the protection of ... the relief of animal suffering." Merlin is still suffering.

I can understand the frustration of a vet that is "not taking on new clients" in some of these reviews, however you would not an office who does not know the limit of their ability to serve all their clients WELL. Would you want to wait for 2 months for an appointment that you really need? I loved Dr. Revelt over 10 years ago when she was with Donaldsons Animal Hospital in Jeannette. When she opened her own practice, I was on her waiting list for close to a year to switch from Donaldsons (where I had a very bad , rude experience when I had to put my golden retriever mix down) I have never had any problems with her service or her office. They are wonderful with all my animals and I can get seen promptly when I have a non-routine problem. I would highly recommend this vet, you just may need to be patient.

We just moved from Florida to Pennsylvania and hadnt found a vet yet. Our elderly dog was ill and needed to be put to sleep. I had read some of the bad reviews, and was very leery about taking him here, I loved my boy so much. Im glad I didnt listen to the poor reviews , this veterinarian and her staff are WONDERFUL!! They were patient, compassionate and kind.....my baby was well taken care of. The vet even hugged us and said how sorry she was. We have found our forever vet, I cant recommend them highly enough. Thank you, New. Stanton Veterinary Services!!

I am sorry for anyone that cannot have Dr. Revelt for their companion pets. I was so fortunate to have found her practice seven years ago when we moved back from Florida, for my parrots. I trust Dr. Revelt with my avian medical care without question. Her staff is caring and kind. I sit and marvel at how in tune with their clients they are and their pets they bring to Dr. Revelt.

Not taking new clients at this time. Whats the point in good reviews when you cant be accessed? I have never heard of such a thing. My boyfriend has taken his pets there since he was a child and I had hoped to do the same. Its a shame, you are going to miss out on many good clients.

This was an awful experience!! On all visits staff was rude, disorganized, and indifferent. I would not recommend this Vet to anyone. My dog didnt even want to go into the office. There are many Veterinarians in the area that are much better. The Humane Society, K-Vets, etc.

Dr. Revelt and her staff have been extremely compassionate with my two golden retrievers for the past 11 years. I trust her & her staff and know when my dogs have to visit the vet they are in the best hands. I hope to take all of my future vets to Dr. Revelt!!
