After my pharmacy had transmitted a renewal request for a prescription drug each day for five days AND I was out of the medicine for the last two, I called the doctors office. The office has one of those "press 6 to do this, "press 7 to do this.." answering machines. I found I could only leave a message on a machine about prescription renewals. I then tried the extension to make an appointment. The receptionist/nurse who answered the phone was incredibly rude. She said that the prescription had been sent in already. When I requested that the office send it in again since I had just hung up with the pharmacy and was sure they didnt have it, she gave me a very hard time. Only later did she concede that it might still be stored in the doctors inbox, waiting for him to hit send. However, she wouldnt do anything about it. She said Dr. Kipp would only transmit prescription renewals after he had seen all his patients for the day. I asked if it might be possible for someone to ask him to hit send before the end of the day since I had been without my medicine for two days already. She said that was impossible. She literally wouldnt budge. I explained several times what my medicine was for and still she was rude, inconsiderate to my condition and unyielding. I would say chances are 90% that our family will switch to a different practice after this experience.

Dr. Kipp was my doctor for 20 years. My wife lost her job of 17 years so we moved to Florida to retire. I believe Dr Kipp saved my life more than once in 20 years. Boy oh boy do I miss Dr Kipp!! I DESPISE FLORIDA!! Ive been through 5 different doctors in a year and half since moving here. If you can find an English speaking doctor in Florida your lucky. I did find a doctor that is half as good as Dr Kipp so Ill take it.
