Ive had a really bad experience here. The place is modern and nice with all of these up-to-date machines but the staff is rude and the cost is 20% higher than other places (cause you have to pay for all of that expensive machinery). They upcharge on the contact lens like crazy. Then I had an issue with my contact lenses and the doctor wanted to charge me extra to see her again! Which I didnt do. Then I wanted to change from two week contacts to dailies and they wouldnt approve the change until I went back in for another eye exam. This place is only out for one thing--YOUR MONEY! Dont fall for the glossy atmosphere. Its a money suck.

I visited Dr.Vincetts office about five times. The office is nice clean and the employees are very kind. However the doctor is very rude, Dr,Vincett never said a word to me. I recommended my nieces to him, when I came to realize how rude he was I apologized and ask them to not go to his office. I am so upset with myself that I hadnt realized the ignorance until after the 5th visit. I guess because the others were so kind. But dont we as patients want the doctor himself to have good bed side manners?

Great care is taken to make sure every thing is exactly as it should be, from corrective lenses, to contacts, to frame choices, to eye health. Service is prompt and professional. If I had an eye health/vision problem beyond the need for glasses, I am confident that this group could provide the needed services without my having to be referred elsewhere. I have been a patient here since moving to the Pittsburgh area 10 years ago and I would not consider changing eye doctors.

The staff is welcoming, the optical assistance is knowledgeable (and not pushy), and my optometrist Dr. Vincett is the best I have encountered. He provides friendly, thorough care and always takes the time to answer my questions and explain my options for vision correction. This office charges $90 per box of contacts when you can get them from 1-800-CONTACTS for $33. Not too much to complain about otherwise, just your typical optometrist office.

They all seemed bothered from start to finish like I was impeding on their time. Scheduling and seeing the doctor, who was very impersonal and curt.
