I heard so many nice things about this doctor and I actually had to talk my mother into going to him our first appt we saw dr texeira for a few minutes and he was pleasant we were taken care by a nice women but i wish the dr spent more time with us. Then my mom had a follow up appt this time it was a guy that works there. He did not want to listen to my mom again we saw dr texeira for maybe 2 minutes top and this other guy was rude and litterly told us we we had to leave cause there was another patient i know he wanted to go home but we also waited quit a while so he should take time . I have never felt so disrespected. He chose this profession and should take time with the patients. Not rush them. He is the professional NOT in this case. I did not catch his name but i know my mom was holding back tears and that upsets me cause i wanted a better doctor and like i said dr texeira is pleasant but he does not have time to see his patients.. It is unfortunate

My parents are elderly and patients of Dr. Teixeira. My sister or I accompany my parents to their appointments to make sure we all understand the medical condition and prescribed treatment. Dr. Teixeira sees a lot of Portuguese patients as he speaks Portuguese fluently. I am impressed as to how much time he takes with my parents explaining the situation and addressing them directly instead of taking the easy route and speaking English to us. I find that he listens well and makes the appropriate recommendations. I also believe that because he takes his time with patients like my parents, sometimes he does get behind schedule. I commend him for taking the time to answer our questions on the portal and sometimes call the house to provide additional information. The same is true for Laura Tavares, NP. I would not hesitate to refer others to this office.

Ive met with Dr. Teixeira personally one time when I joined as a patient and I havent seen him since, however my first meeting with him was lovely.. Very polite man, very honest and genuine. I think his practice has now taken on too many patients b/c youre lucky to even get an appt. anymore unless its an emergency. Ive called the office and had to wait between 15-20 minutes on the phone before anyone picks up and when someone does they are extremely rude. Ive gone on the path of leaving voicemails or messages through the portal they have as well but your lucky if you even get an answer. Im not happy and looking for a new PCP, very unfortunate I was really looking forward to this office being great I had heard such awesome things about him...

Your Mother

He was nice at first. After a while being there that changed significantly. He basically stopped listening to anything I had to say because of his overflow of patients (in one ear and out the other)he couldnt even remember what he had said to me the last time I was there. He then became EXTREMELY rude and would not even let me see/speak to him directly. Laura Tavares is the only sincere and genuine doctor he has there, but I recommend any other doctors office because he controls what Dr. Tavares can & cannot do.

Ivan Medeiros

Im not sure what these other reviews are about. Doctor Teixeira is a very kind and patient oriented Doctor. He has recently seen me, I am no one to him, and he has actually called me on the weekend and at night to make sure my pain has been managed and that I am ok. I work in healthcare and care say he is an amazing Doctor above many many others.

Dr. Teixeira is a breath of fresh air. His bed side manors reflect true passion and concern for the patients total wellbeing. My elderly parents are new patients, they both left their first appointment with Dr. Teixeira feeling like they just met a new true friend, and a feeling of trust and comfort.

The front office is rude beyond belief, office manager could care less about your concerns. Texteira himself has too many patients and is rushing through the service. This has caused a mixup in records and delay in delivering result. Do not recommend.

The doctor and medical staff are great. Unfortunately, the billing dept. screws up every time I go there. I always call during business hours and never get through to a live person. I always leave messages that NEVER get returned.
