True confessions: I was one of THOSE people. "Chiropractic?! No Way!" Skeptical by nature, I was completely convinced chiropractic was without merit. I couldnt have been more wrong. I am incredibly grateful I found this practice. Injuries from decades ago reared their nasty little heads in the form of severely impinged cervical nerves...just a few weeks before a special vacation abroad. I was in terrible pain, and didnt know how Id be able to sit on a long flight. I couldnt get into an ortho or neuro specialist and I did not want to take narcotic/opioid meds. Dr. Craig Pruitt explained what chiropractic can and cant do, and adjusted my spine. I was afraid of a wrenching, cracking movement but that has never been the case. Adjustments do not hurt. Im writing this nearly 2 months out from my 1st adjustment. I made it through my vacation and Im seeing continued improvement in my range of motion, reduction in pain, numbness and other symptoms, muscle tone, etc...without meds or cervical injections or surgery. Yes, this is a financial commitment. But, Ive decided my spine and I are worth it. My number of visits is decreasing and I feel in control of my own health. Im impressed with all aspects of the practice. Aside from his knowledge and expertise, Dr. Pruitt is a great guy. The admin staff -- especially Chrissy -- are warm, helpful and professional. Its a clean and attractive place. My time is valued: adjustment appointment times are prompt. Even the tunes are great! Do yourself and your body a favor and check out Pruitt Chiropractic. At first, made an appointment due to consistent tension head and back aches. After working through the intensive start up program, the tension pain is no more and six years later I look forward to going to every weekly appointment. (Weekly by choice!) Dr. Pruitt is knowledgable, intuitive, approachable and with admirable bed-side manner, whose hands-on only method I appreciate over electro shock ive encountered in most physical therapy. This office provides a new patient orientation with common sense theory and extrordinary cases of returning health we were never let in on by western medicine. Chiropractic has so dramatically changed the way my body feels, I cant say enough good things about it. I recommend Dr. Pruitts care to everyone I know, even those I know attend other care providers....

Im 50 and always had a strong back until the day I tried to pick up a man who had fallen, he was about 300lbs and my back exploded in pain. My doctors solutions were surgery and pain medication or permanent back pain for the rest of my life. A friend recommended Dr. Craig Pruitt, I called on a Monday and had two appointments that day. When I walked into the office, a fluorescent chalkboard on the wall read: "Welcome Steven". I cannot say enough about how beneficial the treatment was for me, I am pain free and plan on returning monthly for readjustments. I didnt take any pain medication for this injury except aspirin, I saw improvement in a day and was back to drumming by the weekend. Thank you Pruitt Chiropractic!! SS - Newport RI

Dr. Pruitt has helped me like no other, I was seeing a different chiropractor with no results. My wife found Dr. Pruitt on a Military Facebook webpage and saw nothing but great things about him and his practice. I decided to give him a try, thinking it couldnt hurt to seek out someone else to help me. Upon my first visit I IMMEDIATELY felt a difference, he put me on a schedule so many days a week and slowly the days have become fewer and fewer. He has great bedside manner, down to earth, and offers Military Discount which is always a plus. Switching to him was the BEST DECISION I could have made and Im VERY THANKFUL for the results he has helped me achieve thus far!

Dr. Pruitt is an extremely intelligent and knowledgeable Chiropractor. I have Stage IV Lung Cancer and Dr. Pruitt has treated me gently and gingerley since the cancer has spread to my spine. I have been going to DR. Pruitt long before my cancer diagnosis and he has always been there for me. He answered and continues to answer all of my questions. I consider Dr. Pruitt an integral part of my cancer care team and I truly feel that I wouldnt have lasted as long as I have (I was given 10-12 months Dec. 19, 2009) without his care. By the way, he also has treated my wife with great success and will soon treat my 3 yo with severe asthma. Thanks a ton Dr. Craig!

I cant even remember how long my family has been going here. I just started getting adjusted this summer when I was suffering from some stubborn lower back pain that just wouldnt go away. Dr. Pruitt payed careful attention to my progress every time I came in and the problem was solved completely within a few weeks. I cant recommend Pruitt Chiropractic enough. Both Docs are so skillful and kind and always make you feel comfortable. Even when walking in, I dont think Ive ever waited more than ten minutes to be seen. No matter what shape Im in--a lot of pain or no pain--I always leave feeling better than when I came in. This team is simply the best.

Dr. Pruitt just moved to the new location listed. His practice is growing, and it is easy to see why, especially with the addition of Dr. Lalli. They are both personable and professional, and will take the time to explain anything you want or need to know. Dr. Pruitt is not known for subtlety, but I would consider that a compliment when it comes to doctors. Though appointments are recommended, they are good at accommodating walk-ins with a reasonable wait time for those requiring a more flexible schedule. I have gone in about twenty times over four months now, and have not once been disappointed.

I am from out of state visiting - didnt have time to see my chiro before I left and my shoulder / neck were already hurting. I phoned Dr Pruitts office - they fit me in that day- to my happiness incredibly knowledgeable and kind as was the lady at the desk- My shoulder - neck he adjusted told me to ice it- I didnt think it could be that simple but the next morning 80/90% reduction in pain- I am a stickler when it comes to chiro care- I wish he were inSC - who knew it didnt have to hurt ? And you feel good? Thank you

The staff is friendly and interested in each patient. Dr. Pruitt is phenomenal, and workds for nothing but perfection. I was a tough case, and took time to show improvement. Dr. Pruitt saw this as a challenge and even researched conditions and medications to see what may be holding up progress. He looks at the whole body and how it functions and not just your spine. It is amazing what reactions your body may have due to your spine. By far the best chiropractic office I have been to.

I never envisioned myself as someone who would be seeing a chiropractor. Then Dr Pruitt was able to correct my daughters ear problems when all conventional methods failed. This spared her from having to have surgery. I now get alighned on a regular basis and have noticed a change in my overall health. 12 chiropractic visits are covered each year under most health plans, you might as well take advantage of them.
