WARNING STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!! I am completely shocked that they have not been shut down yet. They will lose your info (results, physical for employer etc...) Then they will book an appointment for you and when you show up on time or early for a 10 AM APPOINTMENT you will have to wait 45 minutes to an hour before your called in as if your schedule is not important. They also called my wife told her over the phone she had LYME disease which was a completely wrong diagnosis and actually for someone else. They then proceeded to lose my wifes physical exam report which is required by her employer and my wife almost lost her job. When my wife told them they told her she never had a physical done thankfully my wife had the bill from our medical insurance and they finally found it after a week. My mom was also a patient at Anthony Farinas and at her last visit they made her cry because they wanted to double charge her copay and told her she could not be seen if she did not pay and refused her medical treatment my mother was in extreme pain and began to cry. They then told her since she wouldnt pay the copay (which they later found out she didnt owe) that she would have to pay $50.00 for a canceled visit since she wasnt going to be seen. And the best one is on one of my visits the person (phlebotomist) who was going to draw blood from me for a blood test accidentally pricked herself with the needle causing her to bleed and then attempted to proceed to use the needle on me. Had I not stopped her she would have used that needle on me. This place should be closed down and a lawsuit for malpractice should be filed. This is not to mention the numerous times I waited over 1 hour to be seen when my appointment was for 10 am and they call me in at 11:15 this was not an isolated incident and happened several times. At this point my entire family has left this practice and found new doctors after multiple incidents. This includes my brother and his family, my mother and father, and my wife and I. Youve been warned STAY AWAY!!! THIS PLACE IS 5 MINUTES FROM MY HOUSE I NOW DRIVE 25 MINUTES TO MY NEW DOCTOR AND IT IS WELL WORTH IT. I WOULD GO TO A VETERINARIAN BEFORE I EVER WALKED IN THIS PLACE AGAIN. THIS PLACE POSES A MAJOR RISK TO THE PUBLIC IN MY OPINION.

Worst doctor and office on the planet! I was there for several years and after he opened his new practice it became a nightmare. They couldnt keep track of billing and kept telling me I owe for cancelled appointments, even when the DR. that saw me repeatedly told them I havent missed appointments. They tried to bill me for copays which I already paid. You cant leave unless you pay first! The office staff cant keep any documents straight. They are still harassing me for money I dont owe. I sat down with their last billing woman and she assured me I was paid in full but now they keep calling saying I am not. I will not pay for their mistakes and for their incompetent staff. They definitely do unnecessary tests. I was sent for a test to see if I had a blood clot. The women doing the test told me you wont have a blood clot. We do this for Dr. Farina about 8 times a week. They are ridiculous. Those were her exact words. They kept telling me I had blood in my urine and wanted me to be catheterized! I went to my GYN and he thought they were crazy. He tested me and I was fine. They tried to bill me for a back injury. Ive never had one. Come to find out they mixed up my chart with another patient. They told my ex-husband he had COPD when they mixed up his chart with his brothers. This is just a few of the issues. They should be shut down! They are dangerous and incompetent. Dr. Farinas license needs to be removed. I am so angry at the care and treatment I received there. He is definitely just all about the money. Run and run far away from this place if you value your life and your money. I now see Dr. Constantine Vafidis in East Providence. Hes awesome and 100% competent and his staff is amazing. Never an issue and the best care. Go see him. A REAL doctor. Oh, and his staff knows how to bill, keep charts straight, and they actually answer the phone unlike Dr. Farinas staff. Save your self a ton of heart ache and aggravation and dont even consider Dr. Farina. Tell everyone you love as well to stay clear!

I went to see my doctor 2 weeks ago after a back injury. They did an Xray and then said I required an MRI. They confirmed that my insurance has approved this procedure and they have faxed the authorization over to the MRI facility. I have called 3 times, only to be told the facility has not received the fax. I went to the office today to pick up a copy of the authorization to hand deliver it to the MRI facility and get the MRI scheduled. I was told they shredded the authorization (strange). It has been 2 weeks since they ordered the MRI. I have yet to get the MRI. Now my symptoms have worsened to the point that my legs just give out. If I get bad news that I am permanently affected by the ignorance of the staff, I will be contacting a lawyer. In the meantime, I am getting worse and no one in the office will assist me!! Stay FAR FAR away from this facility!!! You are treated like cattle and the standard of care is not even a consideration...only your co-pay is!!

Dont come here. Dr.Farina is nice but the office staff SUCKS. They mess up my appointment EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. I have literally NEVER come here for an appointment that went smoothly. Once I drove two hours to my appointment that they had written down on an appt my card I even had with me and WAS NOT IN THE SYSTEM. Today they call me to tell me they scheduled me for a time that was "unavailable" and Id have to come in later. The first time I ever went there it was for a "new patient exam" when I thought I was receiving my annual physical , I ended up getting a bill for $600 without even seeing the Dr. or having ANY sort of tests done. Thankfully I spoke to Dr. Farina and he realized it was a mistake on the office side and fixed it for me. But Im not lying when I say literally EVERY TIME I come here they mess something up. If I could give 0 stars I would. Going to the Dr. shouldnt be so stressful!

I visited the doctor for general checkup in 07. I had 4 visits and some scans done to identify the reason for my headache. Out of 4 visits , they submitted the claims for 2 visits and my insurance company (AETNA) paid them. For the remaining two they did not submit the claims till 2008. At that point of time, AETNA rejected the claim saying its too late. The hospital has now deferred this to a collection agency (ICS). The collection agency is harassing me now saying I owe the hospital. It will go to my credit history if I dont pay it with in a week. The hospital services were good but I didnt expect them to make me pay for their mistake. This is bad. I am left with no choice but to pay that so that it doesnt hit my credit history.
