If youre looking for a dental office that herds patients like cattle, screws up your teeth and then makes zero attempts to fix the damage theyve done, keeps your account credit and holds your records hostage so that a qualified dentist cant repair the damage theyve done then you have found your new dentist. I came in at the end of January to have dental work done in preparation for a move overseas. I need to have A LOT of work done, but I trusted Beaufort Family Dentistry to do it right, BIG MISTAKE! At each subsequent visit I was shown to the chair and with an ear bud in Dr. Porcelli began working, hurriedly he fluttered back and forth between my chair and the chairs of patients in adjoining rooms. Again, I trusted that he knew what he was doing, although I hated no getting the undivided attention that I needed. After my second visit, one of the teeth that needed fillings(now two teeth), the easiest of all the procedures that I "needed" was extremely sensitive. I couldnt bite down on it, no water could get near it, I couldnt even brush that tooth without being in agonizing pain. I returned to the office in search of relieve; none was found. The pain remained so I visited another dentist for relief. He tried his best to alleviate the pain but the nerve was too irritated at that point. He stated the work was probably done too hurriedly and my enamel was damaged in the process, making sensitivity issues even greater. He stated that should the pain not resolve in a matter of a few days at most a couple weeks, a root canal would be advisable. I now have two teeth that didnt hurt before my visit with Beaufort Family Dentistry causing me constant pain. I have to take between 800-1000 milligrams of ibuprofen every day just to function. Who knows what issues have/ will arise from such dosages for such a long period of time. I have on multiple occasions reached out to the practice for assistance. Most recently in request of my records, so that my dentist here can see what was done & undo the damage. NOTHING. I have a credit do to me, NOTHING. Im currently appealing the charges with my insurance company and working through them to prevent any other beneficiaries from suffering negligent treatment and unprofessional practices at the hands of Dr. Porcelli & Beaufort Family Dentistry.

These are the best dentists Ive ever been too. Ive now seen both Dr Porcelli and Dr Costa at this location. The whole office very professional and Costa and Porcelli are very sharp as dentists, very straight forward and dont have the whole clowny dentist thing going on which is yet another compliment to their trade and skillset. They take things to heart and to mind and are true class acts. Of particular note, they come highly recomnended by those in the non-mercury dentistry trade with a focus on the whole body paradigm which makes them an even greater cut above in terms of making sure theyre not putting things in your body that will complicate your health. If youre nervous about choosing a dentist or just need something quick because of pain youre in? This group is the place to put your confidence, trust and fears at ease. Kudos!

The staff at Beaufort Family Dentistry are very professional and kind. They take the time to make sure you understand what procedures will be needed and why. They make it their goal to educate the patient to ensure that each patient at Beaufort Family Dentistry will be able to go home and keep up their dental hygiene. They take the time to get to know their patients and really work to make each experience as comfortable as it can be. I have really enjoyed being a patient at Beaufort Family Dentistry and the services they provide.

I normally have a horrible time going to the dentist . Not only am I scared to go but it has felt like every time something bad has happened. But my last visit was amazing , the lady cleaning my teeth let me know what she was doing before she did it . I feel better going back knowing I am in good hands! Not only did she clean my teeth but she also removed cement left over from my braces that has been bugging me for months. With out me even asking her too !

The employees at Beaufort Family Dentistry always give my 2 young children and I the best experience! I have searched and visited about 7 different dental facilities and this is, by far, my favorite. We will always return because they take the time to make sure my children are interested, comfortable and happy!
