When my son was born, due to a situation, we were unable to have him circumcised. Upon our first visit with Beaufort Pediatrics, I was told that we would have to wait to be referred to Charleston or Savannah to have the procedure done. We waited and waited. At our two week visit, I was told to call if we had not heard anything within two weeks. Two more weeks passed and I still had not heard anything. I called the office and was told to speak with Brooke. She did not answer so I left a message. After not hearing back from her, I called the following day and was told by Brooke that she received my message and forgot to call me and that she would have to look into the matter and would call me back before the end of the day. I never heard back from her and proceeded to call every day for the remainder of that week. At this point, my son was 5 weeks old and I was to return to work in 2 weeks and he was soon to begin daycare. I reached out to another local pediatrician and they were able to perform the procedure within the week. I was hoping to use Beaufort Peds as they have been a doctor for my husbands family for quite some time, but I cant imagine my child having to go through the procedure at an older age.

Great for the most part with kids horrible with parents, part of working with kids is working with their parents, rude nurses, illiterate. Horrible attitudes need better people skills! Ive attempted to talk they have ignored me several times not just a one time experiance ,the check in process is ridiculous I had to repeat myself 9 times because of the lack of listening to me, Ive corrected them every visit multiple times when they mispronounced my daughters name they ignore me and continue to say it wrong,,,horrid experiences. Dr. Anka is great Dr Coleman is great the nurses though, she walked off with my kid, I asked In the future to not do that she ignored me, I asked her if she heard me thinking she didnt she said she heard she never apologized just gave me attitude then told me in the future shed just make us wait, then after hearing me say my daughters name twice then she said wrong I corrected her she walks off, Im sorry but the nurses there are awful.

We have given this office numerous chances to win us over, with no luck. I will say that two of the Doctors (Bergmann and Dalton) are wonderful, but the rest of the staff are not. The office staff is not friendly or professional and the nurses tend to act as if they rather watch paint dry than be helpful...especially the nurse in the well clinic downstairs. The office is dingy and dirty. We were made to wait a full HOUR while everyone else around us was taken in to their appt. I asked what was going on twice, only to be told that it would be a "few more minutes". We finally gave up and left, having not seen a doctor. After half a dozen visits, all leaving me feeling unhappy, we are switching practices!!

I had my baby at Beaufort Memorial Hospital. After more than a day of labor, it was discovered the umbilical cord was wrapped around my sons neck three time and when he was delivered he aspirated some fetal waste, which caused his oxygen levels to drop considerably. Dr. Martin was the attending pediatrician and stayed the ENTIRE night just to make sure he didnt contract pneumonia. He has wonderful bedside manner. This was my first child and there was never one time I was scared because of Dr. Martins vigilance. I highly recommend anyone to take their children to him.

You can never get the doctors to call you back. My child overdosed on her meds because of the Dr telling us the wrong way to administer them. Some of the nurses are just outright rude most of them and the Dr have a GOD complex and think that they could never be wrong. You think you have a primary doctor but good luck seeing them you get passed around more than a dollar bill. When you try to use the on call it can take up to ten trys and over three hours to get a response. Poor business practices there in it for the paycheck not the health of the kids.

The doctors and staff at Beaufort Pediatrics have been amazing during the last 5 years weve be going there. Nurses have always contacted me back promptly and the doctors have always been attentive and friendly. We just moved and only hope that we can find another pediatrician office that was as professional and caring as we experienced at Beaufort Pediatrics.

We had the best experience here today. My daughter had horrible ear pain and screamed all night. Beaufort Pediatrics was able to get her in the same day and treat her. The entire staff and providers were amazing! Wonderful bedside manner, very caring and thorough, and we were in and out quickly. Very impressed!

All of my children are patients here and we love every doctor. They provide caring and professional service. When emergencies come up I get an appointment that same day. The staff is excellent and I would recommend them to anyone who wants the best doctors for their children.

Dr. Rushton was my Dr and when you receive wonderful service and you feel like family you continue going. Now my kids and grandchildren are patients here. I love this place and the Doctors and employees in it. I have 40 + years to back up my opinion as well!

My family has been with them for years. I am talking 20+ years. I live 1hr away, yes, there are other docs around Hilton Head Island, but they are not as caring and professional as Beaufort Pediatrics is. ;)
