My mother is 97 years old and unfortunately ended up seeing Dr. Honney. My mothers prescription for depression had expired. When I phoned to get the prescription renewed I was told she would have to come in personally. I explained that it is very difficult to get her there physically. I talked with Dr. Honney and she insisted in seeing her. I can understand the doctor being cautious so with much effort we got my mother in to see the doctor. (Nothing more than renewing the prescription was done). Now Dr. Honney is recommending a neurologist. Meanwhile my mother is at the point that we have called in Hospice. Hospice has evaluated her and determined that she qualifies for their services. Meanwhile we cannot get Hospice in to take care of her needs because Dr. Honney will not provide Hospice with the form they need to get started unless she sees this neurologist. In my opinion Dr. Honney needs to reevaluate reality. My mother will now likely pass without having some of the comforts that could have been provided by Hospice.

I was able to get an appointment in a fairly short period of time. Having moved here from out of the area, I needed to see a doctor in a hurry to help with medicine. She is thorough, knows how to ask the right questions about my medical conditions, and helped me find a pharmacy I can work with locally. She doesnt sugar-coat her conversation, and that may be tough for some people. I appreciate her candor and honesty. I recommend Dr. Honney to anyone who wants to be accountable for the success of their own medical care.
