When my physician lost his license last year...my husband and I found ourselves in a quagmire of shock, worry, and panic. I had a surgery that needed to be scheduled, however without a family physician to release me medically for surgery, the surgery could not and would not take place. I found Dr. Coats at FM@TC and she more than took the time to see me and my husband as new patients, spoke with both of us and spent way into her lunch hour doing so. She is thorough, up to date in her medical field and was extremely understanding of our situation and delima. We have been established patients for a year now and are extremely statisfied. People often forget, that doctors and their staff also need a lunch break, that they often have to be on the phone with other doctors and patients. Their job goes far beyond just sitting behind a desk and answering the phones. I also have been there when there was no one behind the desk...but I wait...I have been there when I was not called back right at the time my appointment was scheduled for...but I wait. And I have been called back right time I walked in the door. I wait because I know they are not in a room somewhere twiddling their thumbs. People are willing to stand in line for hours and hours at a movie premiere, or at a concert, or when the next I-Phone is coming out, but they gripe and complain when they have to wait at a doctors office. I dont get it. And I have sat and listened to the most rude patients....and I wonder if that is their normal attitude or if they speak to everyone like that. Next time you are in a doctors office...look around the room, you will see a lot of people who want to be "next". Ask yourself " exactly which one is it that doesnt deserve to be seen next." You just might be looking at someone who is looking back at you thinking the same thing. Be patient, be kind, be respectful. Their job is not easy.

After being told to come in the day before and was aware I had been having not one but several sezuires the last one five mins in the doctors lobby bathroom was literally told by the head office I wont say a lady the rude uncaring person I quote "unless having a sezuire at that precise time I could not be seen" btw five year patient here!!!!! This head office person who is the worst person to have working with the public Absolutely the worst staff possible for someone calling themselves a professional I have on two separate occasions been told to show up for appt ant got refused after THEIR staff had me take a day off work for the second time.....and not to be seen because even though the very medication prescribed has been causing seizures I was told unless I had a cold or was SICK or having a sezuire AT THAT VERY MOMENT could not be seen THE WOMAN at front desk almost seems to find pleasure in someone missing work and hard she can make it hard on the patients to receive adequate service SHE HAD BEEN THAT WAY SINCE DAY ONE IVE HEARD PEOPLE SAYING SAME THING IN LOBBY . She relishes in others sufferings is the only way it seems I suggest if anyone even thinking about visiting this so called proffesional establishment you are better off at a vet they should be investigated due to unsafe and illogical practices ANY REAL DOCTOR OR SOMEONE THAT CARES FOR HIS PATIENTS WOULD HAVE MADE SURE A 5 OR CONSUMER DIDNT LEAVE UNTIL SEEN ...I wouldnt take my dog to someone whos patients mean that little to them i am ashamed for the staff and anyone connected with such people Dr prenette should be ashamed anyone much less a long time consumer because I see now I was never a patient just another 15 min pay check the woman at front should not work with animals much less human beings .....

This is one of the worst practices I have ever encountered in my life. They obviously have been instructed to never have a human answer the phone because you ALWAYS get a voice mail no matter the date/time. The funny thing is they never return the calls either. The voice message will claim duplicate calls will delay response however they never will call back to respond to your original call! I recently had an appointment with this practice because I am out of a prescription, they callled me the morning of to cancel because the doctor was sick( do I get a 25 dollar credit because they didnt give me 24 hr notice?)...this happens I get it..they transferred me to nurse voice mail so I can get a refill because I will run out before they could reschedule me...now 2 business days later I have received no call...I just called again and had to leave another voice mail to try and get a response. If you are thinking about using this practice...think again... luckily much competition is coming to this area..means better service somewhere else!!! One more funny thing is when the answering machine says if you have a real emergency make sure you call 911....I definitely second that because if you wait for a callback from CPG Towne Center you might already be dead...most likely of old age!!!

This physicians group is extremely bad. I cant speak for the other doctors there. However I can say after making appt the doctor I saw Chrystal Coates I was very very upset, sad, and mad at all same time. Not only, did she try and tarnish a very well and respectable Doctor that i formally saw. But she continued to assume that I was being over prescribed by my former doctor. Her tone and demeanor was extremely rude. After telling i would like to speak to my mother, (who was a retired nurse) she left and never once came back to speak to me or even say thank you or bye. I found her to be very rude, and quick to make assumptions. Lastly, again I would like to repeat she spoke very badly about another doctor. I cant find any reason for her speaking down about him, especially someone she shares the same field with. Truly disrespectful, and sad. I can only hope, she can learn to not make these same unprofessional accusations, and maybe and work on some people skills as well. In short, if you wanna be considered "drug user" before even taking a drug test then feel free to visit. If not I suggest not making an appt with the unprofessional Chrystal Coates!

I would not recommend this office unless youre dying. Had been using them for 6 years. My primary dr there left suddenly & she gave me some new drs names that were taking new patients. I felt she was trying to tell me that it was not a good place for her nor me. 1) I needed FMLA paperwork to be prepared if my chronic illnesses to give my employer in case I had to be out of work and it not be held against me. Ms. Eaton said I would need to get a lawyer to prepare them. Ludicrous! She is my family physician and all she would need to do is report my medical conditions that she was treating me for. 2) I went to see her 06/07/17 to get my meds refilled and asked her what could I take for pain, as I have a stomach condition when taking NSAIDS. She told me she would write an prescription for it, never did and when I called today her nurse said she refused to write me a prescription. So what good is it to go to a dr when they they dont consider themselves as your physician and then recommends rx but wont write it? I have never heard such nonsense. Either youre treating me (taking my money) or youre not. Useless!
