I began care about 9 months ago at Alignlife Spartanburg with Dr.B and Im going to tell you my story. How it was, what happened, and what my life today is like. How it was - 8 years ago I was hit by a truck while riding a scooter and received a severe head trauma. The years to follow were truly terrifying. My life included but was not limited to: severe migraine (aprox. 2 per week) outbursts of rage and severe depression, inability to perform normal daily functions, severe attention deficit, constant physical and emotional pain and a wide range of medication to combat my several problems. I was diagnosed with everything, R.A, early menopause, bi polar disorder, adhd, depression. permanently and totally disabled. I had lived with these things for so long i had just gotten used to them (not that my loved ones had). What happened - The physical pain in my lower back was so intense and the multitude of pain medications was no long working. I decided to see a chiropractor, Dr.B, as a last effort for some relief. I went to the office feeling lost, depressed, and hopeless. I immediately felt like I was in a place of understanding, love and support. After my consult with Dr.B I was truly amazed. Based on his findings he pinpointed everything i was going through. Not just my back pain but much deeper then that, the mental anguish, lack of function etc. I had been in therapy every week for years and never felt like anyone could offer me any solutions, just drugs. I signed up for a plan of care and was sure to follow the direction offered to me at AlignLife. My amazement grew exponentially! How it is today - I am currently medication FREE! I never thought in a million years this was possible for me. Im so truly happy and blessed! Ive suffered from 0 migraines in 4-5 month, my female cycle is regulated and the pain associated with it is minimal to none. Im no longer "pre- menopausal" I currently do not suffer from the fibromyalgia I was diagnosed with. My emotions are balanced. Dr.B actually adjusted my jaw, Ive had tmj and for years my teeth didnt fit together, one adjustment and my mouth closes, pain free, and properly aligned. Not to mention sinus trouble is gone! I can also feel my calf muscle for the first time despite the severe neuropathy since my accident. I have had so many ah ha moments in the last 9 months I cant even list them all. AMAZING LIFE CHANGING STUFF! I believe so strongly in the magic of chiropractic with Dr.B that 3 weeks ago a took a job as the AlignLife Office Coordinator. Now my favorite thing is getting to see the transformation taking place every day in numerous others! Ive gone from hopeless to helpful and Im Loving Life! Thanks Dr.B!

I have been going to Dr. Chris Bedenbaugh for almost 2 months and he has done great things for me. I initially went because of pain with my sciatica nerve and pain in my lower back. I have dealt with chronic neck and shoulder pain, carpal tunnel in both hands and TMJ for years, as well. The office was very speedy in getting me in for X rays and I was back the next day for my consultation and plan of treatment. I discovered that my sciatic nerve was caused from my lower back pain which was caused from my chronic neck and shoulder pain which also caused my carpal tunnel in both hands. I aslo found out that my TMJ played a big part in all the pains I was having. I was originally diagnosed with carpal tunnel while pregnant with my first son 30 years ago and wore a hand brace off and on during the pregnancies of my next two sons and periodically afterwards when needed due to pain and numbness and loss of strength. When I became pregnant with my fourth son I had to wear the hand brace while driving, sewing, quilting, cooking, basically when doing most daily activities and slept with it EVERY night on my right hand for 16 years without fail. I had to start wearing a brace on my left hand occasionally, as well. I have had several MRIs and visited different specialists throughout the years. The most recent being a hand specialist and he recommend carpal tunnel surgery on both hands and possibly a joint replacement on the thumb of my left hand. That was not the answers I was looking for. I wanted relief from pain but without surgery. Since I have started having adjustments I have not had to wear my hand brace most days or even when Im driving around locally. In fact, I drove for 2 hours going to the beach before I had to put the brace on. I actually slept four nights without it last week but did have to sleep in it again later in the week. I have reduced my meds. that I took most days for the pain. We are taking it a step at a time and having big results. These are great accomplishment for me and I am looking forward to being pain free or at least with minimal pain and hopefully, I will no longer have to take Advil, Aleve, Ibuprofen or Tynol everyday for the pain! I eruge anyone who is contemplating elective surgery due to pain to give Dr. Chris Bedenbaugh a try. He is very honest and does an amazing job. I had been experiencing terrible head aches, bad neck & shoulder pain that caused me to be irritable, sleep deprived, and just all around felt bad. Through much pain and frustration I sought out Dr. Bedenbaugh via a chiropractor search and after reading others reviews of his service, I called and scheduled me an appointment. Upon him just looking at my profile he knew exactly what the problem was and the x-rays revealed exactly what he saw. My neck had lost all of its natural curve and this was causing all of my subluxations and issues. We started my plan of care in January 2017 and after a month of his magical hands I have to say I cannot believe how much better I feel and we are no where near complete with my plan. I am so glad I made the call and so thankful for him and his wonderful staff. If you are in pain, please; please, you owe it to yourself to go. But better than that, go see him before you get in pain or start having health issues. Start your children now and protect their neck, spine, and all that go along with proper alignment. Best thing I ever did for myself and my health! Thank you Dr. Bedenbaugh, you have a forever patient in me!!!!!!

Ive had back and neck pain for many years and have been to a few chiropractors, and while they helped with the pain it was temporaryrelief and I never made any progress toward ultimately feeling better. I was fortunate to find Dr. Bedenbaugh and have made much progress, the only word I can use to describe it is restorative. Im much more active and no longer look at being in pain as normal. I had experienced TMJ since my teens and didnt even mention it to Dr. Bedenbaugh and after two visits it was gone. After my first few visits I saw my Dad and he asked if I had gotten taller. He takes the time to explain what is going on and how he is treating it and his office runs great, I havent had to wait more than a few minutes which helps with my schedule. If you are looking for a new chiropractor or have never been to one I would definitely recommend him.
