In the beginning, I was very skeptical and even a little uneasy seeing a chiropractor for a pinched nerve in my neck --- I was almost certain that it would require some sort of surgery to fix. The pain from the pinched nerve was hurting me so badly, that I finally decided to give him a try. On my first visit, Dr. Longie started by asking me if I had any concerns, questions, or feelings of uneasiness about seeing a chiropractor. After he addressed my issues, he then took x-rays and identified the cause of my pain: vertebrae that were out of alignment. He advised me as to how it could be fixed, and outlined a treatment schedule for me. He asked me when I wanted to begin, and after meeting with him and feeling a lot better about the procedures, I decided I wanted to receive my first adjustment that day. Within minutes, I received my first neck adjustment, which was basically an intense "neck-pop." I INSTANTLY felt a relief in my pain. Dr. Longie stated that I would need to continue with my adjustments in order to continue to fix the issue. I have stuck with the adjustments, and now am feeling better than I did even before the pinched nerve. My range of motion has increased, I stand up more straight. All in all, my experience has been and continues to be excellent with Dr. Longie. He is a great chiropractor with excellent "bedside manner" (not condescending or grumpy like some doctors) whom I highly recommend to others experiencing pinched nerve pain!

I was visiting my wifes sister and brother-in-law in Fairview, TN. They have been going to Dr. Rick for a number of years and I have played golf with him on several occasions. I had never been to a Chiropractor! My wife told me that my posture is deteriorating and that I should let Rick check me. I did and I am so thankful that I did see him professionally. He did a X-ray study and thermography measurements and then scheduled three adjustments for the remaining time of our Tennessee visit. He recommended that I continue my treatment with a Gonstadt trained Chiropractor in our home town in Ohio. I felt such a difference after his spinal adjustments that I did take his advice and am now regular patient at Baker Chiropractic in West Chester, OH. I do notice improvement in my posture as well as significant reduction in lower back and neck pain in just 10 days time from my first visit with Dr. Longie. Great job, Rick and thank you. For an old retired guy, I am starting to feel half my age!

As a new patient and long time advocate of Chiropractic care, I was pleasantly surprised at the wonderful ambiance of the office and the very welcoming staff. My first visit was very through and Dr. Longie took the time to explain my condition and answer all of my questions. He showed me in detail a plan for recovery and continued good health. He provided me with a plan of care, a recommended schedule for adjustments and worked with me on cost of treatment. I dont think I could have asked for more. Ive been receiving treatment for only a week now however, I am definitely progressing toward better health a tremendous relief from my symptoms. I highly recommend Dr. Longie and his Brentwood practice.

I highly recommend Dr Longie and his clinic. He and his staff were most helpful and courteous. I was in town just for the day and needed my lower back adjusted, Ive had this issue for year and know when its out and what need to be done to fix it. Dr Longie listened to me and instead of insisting on a bunch of unnecessary x-rays, therapy and whatnot he examined my back, took me at my word that knew what I was talking about then adjusted it as I asked. He even offered that if I thought I needed a "tune up" before the end of the day he would re-adjust me again at no extra charge. Great experience, will use his practice whenever Im in that part of the country and in need of a chiropractor.

I have been a patient of Dr. Longies since I was an infant! He has always taken great care of my health over the years... He has helped restore the mobility, strength and proper curvature of my neck after I suffered whiplash from 2 car accidents in my teenage years. He has helped give me relief when I USED to suffer from recurring (weekly, sometimes daily) headaches as well as migraine headaches. I am happy to say my headaches are now considerably fewer and farther between thanks to Dr. Longie -- I simply cannot say enough good things about him or recommend him highly enough!

Dr. Longie is a very experienced chiropractor who listens well & explains the process up front. He takes time to answer questions that may come up and has the ability to pinpoint particular difficulties by his sense of touch & from careful review of your X-rays. I have found him to be competent and informative. I have never had to wait more than a few minutes for an appointment - ever. Dr. Longie is amazing at what he does! He takes time to understand your issues, talk with you about your needs, and is very knowledgeable in the steps that are needed to help you recover. I have had headaches 5-7 x a week for 7 years. After meeting with Dr. Longie over the past 5 weeks, I am headache free! His staff is great as well! When I went to Dr. Rick I had really bad pain in my hips from pinching the sciatic nerve while exercising, in addition to some twisting of the spine from years of sports that was causing discomfort in my shoulders. After a few months of treatment, I am proud to announce that the hip pain is nearly all gone and the other ailments are getting better each and every visit. I went from 3 visits a week to currently 1 and can see the difference in each and every visit. I highly recommend them!!!!

I must admit I was skeptical about chiropractic care after suffering a compression fracture to my T-12 vertebrae but after a consultation and evaluation with Doctor Longie, I now feel better than I have felt since my accident. I received wonderful care from an orthopedic doctor when I had the fracture, but now that I am healed Dr. Longie is getting me all straightened out and I feel much better overall.

For at least 8-10 years I would have reoccurring headaches every Saturday! Usually late morning/early afternoon. After 4-6 appointments with Dr. Longie, my headaches have completely gone away!!! My exercise and water intake has remained at the same level. Go see Dr. Longie!!!
