After first meeting Knotts, he went on a brief description of what Chiropractic work involves. The exposition seemed to be directed to a 5 year old and further questions on my part were met with near disdain. Knotts is a curious fellow. In fairness he was not lacking in politeness or manners. He does provide you with several exams and his evaluation of them. He just seems devoid of any feelings and speaks as if he is talking to himself. At first I thought he might be having a bad day or perhaps he was heavily medicated but later contacts showed me that that is his norm. After three scheduled corrective procedures ( which last about a minute each) and exams, I was then invited to a "seminar"where he reads of power point slides in the same emotionless tone. During the presentation he does take time to explain highly sophisticated medical terms such as mortality, which of course are beyond the same targeted 5 year old communication level that is intended. Following that, one is encouraged to provide the name and phone number of all your friends and family members that would certainly benefit from the marvels offered by the good doctor. Lastly, if you can not afford the thousands of dollars that are paid upfront on for this exquisite treatment (payment is unrelated to getting any results), financing will be made available to you, as naturally one should not be without the benefits of this world class service. While reading patient feedback in other sites, I realized that there is a very large number of one star evaluations, intertwined with brilliant 5 star ones with nothing in between. I am conflicted between two hypotheses: lots of cousins writing reviews or a very rare case of split personality. Seriously though, Knotts did not do anything wrong or misrepresent himself. I wish him well but honestly believe he should consider an alternate career (such as research) where he has less contact with people.

If I can save even one person some time, money and energy by never stepping foot in this place, it will be worth it. "Doctor" Knotts desperately needs to get into therapy with a focus on human behavior and interaction, as well as basic social skills. If he intends to deal with patients, his goal should be getting to a place where he can emit reasonable emotion and empathy. My first (visit) impression was "Wow, that was a terrible experience. I dont want to ever go back, but maybe he was just stressed or having a bad day..." My second (visit) impression was "Nope, this guy really is a complete jerk." The lesson here: Always trust your gut. Perhaps if you go and buy one of his "packages", rather than trying out the business with a Groupon, you might be treated differently. I can only speak to the latter. He has no time for THOSE clients. But he has no problem making you wait an hour to see him, filling out several pages of paperwork and reading lots of laminated sheets. Beverly, at the desk, tells you hell go over all of those with you. He does not. You are a clear nuisance and waste of his time and he will get you in and out before you even know what happened. He is rude, aloof and disinterested. My favorite part was when he told me I "forfeited" the last of my appointments because I didnt cancel within their window. When I explained that I had to reschedule because Id been down with the flu all week and didnt want to infect anyone, he let me know "my immune system is stronger than yours... It wouldnt have been an issue." HA! What a pompous piece of work. So many more details, but hopefully everyone gets the point here. Stay far away. Or end up with not only back pain, but a major headache.

I completely disagree with these horrible comments about Dr Knotts. He went the extra mile when I was diagnosed with a meniscus tear on my knee for my "medical doctor". Four different specialists told me that I needed surgery. My reaction was to go to Dr Knotts following a friend recommendation. He treated me for 4 months and with adjustments and exercises directed by him, I am good as new. My " medical doctor" could not believed when she saw me for my physical . He was a life changing for me, no pain and can do any exercise I want. I have Dr Knotts in my prayers every day and I will pray also for those people who wrote these bad comments.
