Called on Monday to get soonest appointment. They got me in the next day. They asked typical questions about insurance (I have two) and income to qualify for sliding scale which I didnt need. All other questionnaires were about gender identity, sexual partners, race, asthma, illegal drug useage, HIV/AIDS status but NO QUESTIONNAIRE regarding any other medical history - NONE! Nothing about current medications, current medical issues etc. The front staff were courteous. In the exam room they took my blood pressure and blood sugar. When the Dr. came in he never asked one question about my medical history. I offered him a typed list of my medications, history, current physicians etc. He tells me "you need a referral to a psychiatrist because you take this medicine, an endocrinologist because you take that medicine and a pain specialist for those medicines and you need to stop taking these medicines." Never asked why I was taking any of them, how long, who prescribed them and for what. Then he says "people come in here all the time thinking this is a free clinic and were not". Uh, I have insurances that cover 100% of the costs and that was never an issue. Then he tells me "people shouldnt have more than 1 or 2 doctors" and didnt look at my feet which was one of the reasons I was there. Seriously if you go to see a doctor and he doesnt take the time to find out who you are, your medical history, why you are there and then proceeds to lecture you on things that have *NOTHING* to do with your visit.....open the door and LEAVE (like I did). Then tell EVERYONE ELSE to NEVER GO THERE. This is the epitome of unprofessional and malpractice behavior by someone who is supposed to be assisting in managing your health. If I had not provided my meds and history list I wonder then what he would have done? Nothing! Just like he did anyway. It is a sad thing when doctors like him are allowed to practice and pretend to care for people, especially those like myself with complex health issues. Doctors like this are *EXACTLY* why people have to resort to going to Emergency Rooms. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM MATTHEW WALKER HEALTH CENTER on Dover Rd. in Clarksville, TN as humanly possible. Do *NOT* risk your health or life by seeing a "doctor" at this clinic.

Save yourself some time and hassle. I was pleased with the visiting dentist Dr. Smiths evaluation and care, but the poor reviews hold true about this place. I was seen at the end of May for my root canal. I wasnt even given a temporary crown and was told to just avoid eating on that side until my appointment at the end of July. They told me I could call weekly to see if they had anything sooner since they dont have a cancelation list. I did so a week after the appointment and was told I had a appointment two days later AND the end of July appointment. Not enough time to arrange off with work, so I hand to cancel the June appointment and scheduled one of my wedding anniversary (only other day available) first week of August. I continued to call to see if anything sooner than my July appointment would come available and it never did. Today, I was told they had no record of my July appointment so now it will be August for my temporary and September for my permanent. 4 months, almost, to get my dental work finished. Not worth the money saved, and they apparently run this place so poorly they dont leave even a single weekly slot available to fix their own mistakes.

The only reason I rated them a one is because it doesnt give the option to rate them a zero. The main purpose of me going to them was because I needed dental work and I waited for hours just to see the dentist even when i had an appointment. The workers at the front desk are so incompetent that they couldnt even do a simple task as to finding out how much my bill would be for the day with my insurance plan and tried to charge me double the amount, without even calling the insurance company. Then when they did find the correct amount, they tried to reschedule another appointment for months later. Needless to say, when you absolutely need to go to the dentist (go to an actual good one) do not go to Matthew Walker; they are a waist of time, the women at the front desk are inept/dont know what theyre doing, and have poor customer service skills.

First off, couldnt find the place bc the sign is so small, then I showed up a half hour early just like they asked, filled out the info. And waited an hour to get seen, the place seems unsanitary. They had boxes on the baby weight area, I was uncomfortable putting my baby bare but on there, and when we left that area the lady didnt even clean up after, we had to sign the release of med. Info and the front desk lady had us do her job for her bc we didnt know the exact address so we had to Google it for her and then she had the nerve to ask us to find a fax number too. I do believe that is HER job. It seemed like there was no communication with the assistants and front desk. I feel like they should really get their sh** together. Its basic stuff and I feel like they could/should do a lot better with little effort.

My Family was assigned to the Matthew Walker Clinic by our insurance and we have never been able to be seen because appointments are months out and by then we have go treatment through the Tennova ER or the Health Department. My 1yr old Son was treated at the ER and was told to follow up with his primary care in 2 to 3 day and I called the clinic to get him seen and theysaid soonest was Aug 16 !!!! The day I called was June 14th over a month to wait while my baby is fighting a infection and only 1!!! It is totally un ethical to have a child wait that long to be seen. Their scheduling needs major work and The receptionist admitted to me walk-ins wait hours and may never get seen.

I think everyone who commented on here has no life and just wanna complain oh cry me a freaking river imsure youre over exaggerating. Who the hell says theyre gonna pull a tooth in the middle of the room freaking moron you should have left after an hour if that was the case and they dont ignore people you probablyjust sat there and didnt give a crap to ask cause youre probably lazy. So yea. And if they donthave an appointment ready ohwell they have other patients who obviously get good care. And boohoo it was on your freaking wedding anniversary andin a month you could have made arrangments with work. Get a lufe and stop complaining. Morons.

They are very bad and have an inexperienced staff. The office is disorganized and the doctor I saw does not listen. They cant transfer a call without losing you and then you stay on hold forever when they answer. The wait was not bad the day we went, but the questions they ask you as a new patient are crazy! How many sexual partners in your lifetime? - Sorry! - none of your business. They ask you survey questions for reasons other than your personal medical treatment. They are bad and the office manager will "lose" a call on purpose when she has no good answer or just doesnt know. If there was a zero rating - they would get it!
