I cant speak for the patient care or about the dentist herself but I can tell you how rude and unprofessional her husband was. Im not sure what he does there besides sit behind his desk belittling the assistants. Im a new graduate and turned in my resume there since I was referred by a friend. At first he seemed kind until he started telling me dental assistants were basically no one and they are there for his own convience to make everyone elses job easier. I do not disagree that part of an RDAs role is to help the dental TEAM but it is not to be belittled and talked to how he talked to me. The rate of pay he told me to expect anywhere (ha) was 10!!! I can go work fast food for 10. He said he was not wasting his time training someone to leave his office. Which I could never understand why someone would want to leave seeing as how the employees are treated so "professionally". I genuinely felt sorry for the assistant at the front desk listening to what all he had to say. If you have an self worth or dignity in what you do not go there! If you are a patient who cares about how the employees are treated id recommend finding a new dentist. Like I said Im not sure how he or his wife treats patient but I know he is very unprofessional and disrespectful with his employees.

Ive been going to Dr. Pitts for years and Ive never had any problems! The front desk ladies are always super nice and accommodating. They never give me attitude when I have to change appointment times. Some offices get snooty about it, but these people get that sometimes life happens. My hygienist is awesome! She is very personable and always does a great job. Somehow she gets my teeth squeaky clean while still being gentle. Dr. Pitts is a good combination of friendly and professional; she takes time to get to know her patients without being overly chatty and making the appointment time long. I really appreciate that she doesnt make me feel like a number. She genuinely cares about her patients. I also appreciate that she seems to runs a tight ship. Her facility is always spotless, and her appointments are prompt and punctual.

The more I learn about dental insurance the more I realize that the staff has no clue what theyre doing. They have provided incorrect estimates for services and have billed the incorrect codes to my insurance company. The out of pocket for my sons cleaning should have been $0, I was billed $296 because they performed work that I did not authorize nor did they get his previous dental records. Just beware that the staff have no clue about insurance. Its not what Im used to and Ive never had this happen before now. Its too bad because the dentist was great!

Ive been a patient of Dr. Pitts for many years and have always have great service from her office. I was there for fillings yesterday--not a fun reason to go to the dentist--but the treatment and care I received was excellent. Dr. Pitts really knows what shes doing, and she also treats her patients with the best care!
