My husband has been going to this dentist for a while with no problems till today. Today he goes in for what he said was a filling. While there the dentist decides hes going to do a crown instead but didnt tell my husband. My husband found out when he was presented with a 357.00 dollar bill. What kind of business practice is that? You dont do unauthorized work and expect to get paid for it. He should of asked my husband if he could afford the crown. No we cant afford the crown I am unemployed. I would never recommend this dentist to anyone. If he would have told my husband that they were doing a crown my husband would have said no. He was having no problems. This is like taking your car in for service and they put in a 3oo or 400 dollar part and then present you with a bill expecting you to pay it. The dentist probably screwed up the filling and had to do the crown. You cant get a patient in your chair and you do whatever you want to do and then say you owe me such and such. YOU NEED TO INFORM THE PATIENT OF THE COST UP FRONT.YOU DONT KNOW THAT PATIENTS FINANCIAL STITUATION. YOU CANT ASSUME THIS PATIENT CAN AFFORD TO PAY FOR A CROWN WHEN THEY THOUGHT THEY WERE COMING IN FO A FILLING.

My family and I (including my parents, wife, and kids) have been going to Dr. Manning for a long, long time. Great professionalism and care. Usually a short wait, and he is quick to fix issues or small emergencies that have come up like chipped teeth, etc. Good prices as well.

Ive known Dr. Manning for several years. After having severe pain resulting from work performed by another dentist, I asked Dr. Manning for help. He saw me immediately, identified the problem, and took care of it right then. Since that time, Ive had no problems.
