Set an appointment to get a tooth pulled that have been bothering me. Appointment was at 8 oclock in the morning. Arrived and immediately went in for x-rays. This was the worst x-rays that I have ever had. I have never had a block put in my mouth for an x-ray. It hurt my mouth so bad that I couldnt keep it in the right spot so my x-rays took about 20 minutes longer than they should have. Bad experience. After x-rays took me to a chair and had dr. Come talk to me and give me options if I wanted to try to save the tooth. I was just there to get it pulled I told her Im done. Hey hi Janice came in and talk to me for a couple minutes and that was it. I sat in the chair for 35 minutes. I was texting my wife telling her what was going on. I stood up and turned around and a young lady looking at me. Ask can I help you. I told her I was sitting there for 35 minutes and nobody has come see me. A few minutes later an arrogant ass man ask me what my problem was and I told him that I was there to get a tooth pulled and nobody had come back to talk to me. He had me follow him to the front counter or his desk and went over payment options and other stuff. I asked him if I was going to get a tooth pulled today. His response was well see. Throughout our conversation it was looking like money was all that he was interested in. He asked how do you plan on paying for this. Can you pay it today. My response absolutely are you going to pull my tooth. Yes we can pull your tooth can you pay half of it today. Now after insurance my bill what was a little over $1,200. So I paid half of it. And went and got a tooth pulled. Two weeks later my appointment I went in for a cleaning and a partial to be fitted. After the partials fitted the only took me back out to the waiting area and I sat there for about 10 minutes. She called me back and put me in sure to wait for the doctor and I said there for 35 minutes. Again I text my wife and told her I was fixing to out of this damn place.

I havent seen a Dentist in my adult life. My teeth were in terrible shape; I was missing a tooth, I had chipped teeth, and holes in my teeth. After being in consistent pain, I decided to see a few different dentists, but ultimately ended up choosing Aspen Dental. Before I went to Aspen Dental, I was so embarrassed with my teeth that I dont remember the last time I smiled with my teeth. I didnt think any of my teeth could be saved and was expecting to have to get all my teeth removed and have dentures. First thing I noticed when I entered Aspen was how nice all the staff was. The front staff, the nurses, and the environment was being nice and welcoming. I later noticed that everyone that works there is really good looking, but thats completely unrelated. I really liked how forward Aspen was with billing. They had a game plan and the cost all laid out and it was great. The other Dentist I went to before Aspen I ended up spending a few hundred dollars and still had no idea how much money I needed and what the game plan was. The hygienist did an amazing job, my teeth have never felt so clean. Im trying hard to follow her advice to build better habits. The first doctor I saw was Dr. Pak (I think that was her name). She was extremely knowledgeable and skilled when she fixed my teeth. She could probably open her own successful dentist. Today I had Dr. Douglas, who was awesome too. Dr. Douglas work on my teeth is unbelievable; I honestly cant believe how good my teeth look after his work. I went from never smiling to constantly smiling. It will take some extreme for me to even consider going to a different dentist than Aspen Dental. I wish I had taken a before and after, because its unbelievable the work they did. The only bad thing about going to Aspen Dental? I have to learn how to smile again, because Im no longer embarrassed to smile.

Ive been terrified of the dentists my whole life so when I finally choose Aspen dental I went inside full of fear. They were so kind and patient and respectful from the moment I went inside. Ive been self conscious of my teeth for years and we were able to come up with a plan of action even on my small budget! Thanks for working with me! Well it started out good but come time for my surgery it went downhill from there. I go back and its a tiny room and a tech ask questions Anne after answering them he had no idea I was suppose to leave With a top denture and tells me wow they never get them out that fast ,1st flag, when I was checked in my driver was told to be back in 1 1/2 hrs 2nd flag, they need to be there the entire procedure. When she returns they get ready to do the IV and after the 13th stick, yes 13, Ive got pics of the bruises! They even allowed ME to stick myself bc I thought I could do as Ive seen it done in the same spot Everytime I have bloodwork done but of coarse I didnt know how to but I was desperate to not have toothaches constantly,3rd flag. I am so disappointed to have to reschedule but I did. I started reading reviews and WOW!! I was feeling uneasy and call to ask some questions and was told Id have to do it today bc its the last day for the surgeon and itd be a couple of months before they can find another surgeon. Who was going to look at me for the fallup the next day and what if something were wrong?!? 4th flag! Now Im so not comfortable or confident about Aspen Dental. Lastly theyre charging me over $300 for my excruciating experience. Beware!!!!

This is a business max. billing operation. For a simple thing like having a filling replaced they spend the first hour trying to sell services they you may or may not need, methods included nothing less than terrorist marketing. By this I mean if you do not have this done something terrible might happen. After you tell several people that have attempted to sell you something finally a Dr. arrives looks and sends you to the business manager, you must pay before service is performed. Never have I seen this in my life, and a statement on the bill that states since you will not pay to have all the services they try to sell you no warranty is given on the work you went in to have done in the first place. After that you are sent back to the waiting room again to wait for something while the staff socialize in the hall. You have now been there for over an hour and half on a procedure that should of taken 20 minutes tops anywhere else in the world. Unless you want to be marketed, sold things you may not need and in general have your time wasted. Stay Way. Update: Finally got home to my regular dentist. All the work they wanted me to sign up for was bogus. My dentist found nothing that Aspen said I needed to have done and the 5 fillings they wanted to do turned out to be just 1. These people should be investigated for the type of practice they are running. PS: They edit their own website reviews to only post positive reviews, the real reviews are here.
