Justifiably Nicky

If you are picky about who, how and where you go for medical care then Dr. Abbas office will not be the place for you. Lets start with the facility, very outdated. Staff is very unprofessional, no customer service and patient care is does not seem to be a priority. I did my blood work there and I had to call several times to get my results, there were no complimentary phone call to discuss the results or to notify you that your results were in. When I finally got the nurse practitioner on the phone to discuss my results she did not know what she was talking about, and she was very rude. Overall my experience at the Dr. Abbas office was just horrible.

Dr. Abbas was my obstetrician in 1998 and delivered my daughter who is now 17 years old. He is still in the same location, and although its been a long time I can only speak of his staff from back then. They were extremely professional, caring and genuinely concerned. Dr.Abbas was a great doctor, although I feel as if he rushed me into a c-section when now as I look back and am more knowledgeable, I wished Id have said No, not yet!" and tried for a vaginal delivery. But hey, I was only 18. He delivered a healthy baby with no complications with my surgery so I cannot complain.

Ive been going to this clinic for over 9 years. All I can say is the doctor is great whenever you do see him. For the most part the nurse practioner is there.They might as well not have a phone because they never answer it. Staff is okay. I havent been back for about 3 years now and I dont know if I ever will. Another thing is when you schedule a appointment you still have to wait another 30 minutes to be seen or probably longer when you go to the exam room.

August 18th was my Daughter n law first OB appointment and will be her last there!!! The staff is so rude and it is so nasty in there... The health board really needs to close them DOWN!!! Walls are dirty rooms does not look like they ever get cleaned and is far from being sterile... Everyone urine sample is in bathroom uncovered... Its just something off of a horror show!!! Going to take further steps to get in touch with health board...

Horrible and I have not even seen anyone. I had a 2:00 pm appointment. Arrived 5 min early and doors were locked. So I just sat there in the parking lot for about 5 minutes and saw a vehicle pull in to unlock the front door. I followed in behind they turned and said can I help you? I said I had an appointment. They said we are running late. Just crazy doesnt even look like a doctors office. I will not be back.

Nurse practitioner was an extremely rude. They would lie to you just to get you there faster. They would cancel or reschedule without at least a days notice. They would literally call me and tell me I had to come earlier that same day of my appointments. I only saw the doctor twice!! Once while I was pregnant and the day AFTER I delivered.

This is the worst experience I ever had for my first pregnancy I went in wasnt greeted or anything they stared at me with a mug like they never seen a black person before ...man told me my appointment was at 9:30 lady yelled with attitude saying it was 9:15 she was rude the whole time Im sensitive at the moment and it made me cry and upset

Plain awful. You can never reach them. They will not give you more than 3 months of BC without calling for reauthorization. I always have to call in for labs. I have never actually seen the doctor in the 3 years Ive gone there, just the nurse practitioner. The rest of the staff barely speaks English. I am not going back there ever again.

So, the staff can be kind of rude lol and Dr Abbas is kind of to the point and extremely honest, can be interpreted as rude also. However, I had a c section done by him and it went very smoothly. Recovery and everything. I thank him for bringing my beautiful boy safely into the world and accepting me as a patient so late.

I called to reschedule my FIRST appointment was asked my name and left on hold for 20 minutes. I ended up just hanging up. When I called back I was sent to their VM.Very rude and inconsiderate!! I will be looking for a different doctor elsewhere. I cant speak for the doctor but the staff just pissed me off.

He is a great doctor, However, his nurse Hazel is ridiculous. Ive been coming for over 10 years. Its usually a little wait, but to me, HES worth it, but really half of his staff needs to be replaced.
