I had the absolute worst experience with this practice today. My sister is 100% removing both of her children out of her care. This entire week I have had my nephew in east Texas. Today my 1 yr old son had a temperature spike to 104.4. After arriving at our own pediatrician with my nephew and both my boys to get answers, my pedi diognosed my 1yr old with strep Throat. She immediately wrote both my boys prescriptions. For my youngest due to the strep and for my oldest because more than likely he would get it and it would be pointless to make us come back in. My nephew and oldest have been exposed upclose. Kissing him, taking his pacifier, and just normal play time. The pedi recommend that I contact my nephews pedi to do the same. Peyton would more than likely get strep as well and the weekend is coming up and he is 3 hrs away from home in east Texas. And that if it became problematic, they could call her or her staff to confirm the strep he was bluntly exposed to and would likely get. I relay this information to my sister in north Texas and she calls the office of this pediatrician. They very rudely tell her that they dont do that. And it didnt matter who they talk to or the situation. I then ask her for Glenna harriss # and that Im Calling to speak to her nurse. Im very very hot at the point. My nephew has begun to consistently cough at this point, so Im getting worried. The lady at the front desks asks what she can help with and I relay the same information my sister did and then tell her no Thankyou I would like to speak to the nurse. The nurse then calls me back and treats me as if Im completely ignorant and that no pediatrician would tell me to make this request. I then explain that my nephew is in east Texas again and could possibly be sick and that my pediatrician would like to reassure them that the possibility of him needing a prescription for strep is very Likely due to the circumstances. They absolutely refused to call my pediatrician and said we dont do that and if hes sick he would have to come home and be seen by Glenna Harris to get the prescription. I am absolutely disgusted at this point and tell them Thankyou for your help but my sister will no longer be bringing either of her children back to this practice due to this situation. Obviously they dont care enough for their kids , if they cant even make a phone call for their patient who is wayyyy out of reach. Even at the request of another pedi to be contacted on behalf of my nephew. Needless to say I hung the phone up and my sister was not surprised due to how she has been treated more that once at this practice. She is moving her children to a new pedi immediately that will treat her children well and not like burdensome piece of paper. She is now having to drive from north Texas all the way to east Texas to get her son so he can be taken to a doctor. That makes me sick. My pedi and her nurses we shocked at how the situation played out, absolutely could not believe she would not help us and that they would never have done this to us, especially if the other pedi would have called in reference. I do not recommend this person to care for you children. They are a piece of paper nothing more

This office is the worst! Dr. Harris is great, but the front staff is completely disorganized. I made a first visit for lumps in my 16 month olds neck that I wanted to have looked at because my regular pediatrician wouldnt. The 1st visit took over an hour and half to get in. I took them a copy of his shot records from previous and they inputed those records into their system because they handed me at checkout a printout with their header showing all the immunizations I gave them. At checkin they told me the visit would be $120, but at checkout they asked for $185 and said they miscalculated earlier. They made me a 2nd visit to get his next immunization shot. We got there at 8:10 for an 8:30 appt. The front door was closed until after 8:40 am with a sign saying they were having a meeting. They asked for our copy of shot records even though I already gave it to them and then refused to give him his next immunization. Now he will be late on his immunization because they dont have their records organized. What happened to the last records I gave them that I KNOW they have inputed in their system? The front desk is rude. I hate this place and will never recommend it to anyone!

The worse pediatric off and with a very nasty additute after waiting for 1 hour in the lobby missing work and finally being called and told that i will be waiting for another house to see the doctor for my 9 month old child i told them i cannot wait any longer today i will have to reschedule im very late for work when i got to the lady to reschedule the nasty doctor harris was walking around instead of her being in the rooms taking care if patients so they dont have to wait she had enough time to tell the lady to not reschedule me and she will no longer want to see my child... I will see if there is any higher level to complain about her and her staff this is crazy ive never been treated like this and i have 3 kids! Even if she was the last pediatrician here in denton i will drive 1 hour away and take me child to another pediatrician and not dr glenna g. Harris very unprofectional and very rude!

I worked for her for over a year. Lets just say that behind the scenes is a whole different side, that most dont have to deal with. She was a complete psycho to work for. One day she is happy and nice, the next she is treating you like pond scum and talking to you like youre a complete idiot. She is both verbally and physically abusive. I have had several charts thrown at me during her infamous little temper tantrums. She is too childish to act like a responsible leader and discuss any concerns with her employee directly. No, she is going to bad mouth that person, loudly to all the other employees. So childish. No wonder her reputation in the healthcare field sucks as bad as it does. And with all the wrong doing that I witnessed in my time there, I must say Im glad to put that place in my rearview.

Ive been bringing my daughter here since she was about 6 months old. Staff is friendly and are helpful. Doctor Glenda Harris where do I begin she is by far the best pediatrician I have had for my daughter. She is very patient and is willing to answer all the questions you have. She also takes the time to explain whats going on with your child. I know I can call in when my daughters sick and they will schedule her either the day of or the morning after I call. I dont trust my baby under and ny ones care but hers. All these parents that andnyonesre complaining about the wait time there is no need to go in an hour before I go 15 mins before and Im out within the hour. Highly recommend doctor Harris to any mother.
