Horrible experience when I had my son 1997. I was on medicaid. They gave me Sherman. This doctor treated me for a yest infection and had the nerve to make a eww gross face while examining me.. Really upset me being 7 or 8 months along and 24yo first child and having no clue what a yest infection even was at the time. He made me wait for 4 days in the hospital being pumped wirh morphine and told I was in labor but not active labor. Finally when he does come he pops my water and I have my son in 3or 4 hours. His head not round at all. He cried so much I think because of all the morphine they gave me. He slumped to one side because his muscles in his shoulder shrunk. He didnt have a lot of room to move around I guess but the doctor didnt pick up on that either. They took his baby picture and he looked all scrunched up cone head. I gave one to Sherman he scoffed at it and told the nurse to put it behind the counter. I guess he didnt want anyone to see my sons picture. Cuz it didnt match with all the round headed babies he had hanging up on his wall. Its almost been 20 yrs since my horrible experience with Sherman. Hopefully he has changed. But Ill never forget how I was treated by this doctor. And one of the nurses at Georgetown hospital.

The staff and facilities are the Achilles heel of this group. I waited over an hour for my appoint and about 1/2 way through the wait I asked when I was going in and it was "right away" I asked two more times and the answer was the same. The staff doesnt return calls same day and when they did, they ordered me the wrong medicine and they said they had thought I previously had something else. They made an appoint for me and never told me (I found out when one of the staff finally called me back and said the doc would see me on Day X for my appoint, I said nobody had called me to tell me I had one. Good grief! The facilities are old and cluttered. I used the bathroom and wanted to take a shower after. Dr. Sherman himself seemed kind and knowledgable but it is all about customer service and this place doesnt have it. When I called to tell the I was canceling my next appointment and leaving the practice, nobody said sorry when I told them why and I never heard back from them.

Sherman is a nice gentleman, however waiting 2+ hours for ever prenatal appointment was not great at all. The staff is very rude, Shermans medical assistant was sweet. He has a lot of great equipment, but due to running so late consistently, do not plan on your ultra sound or appointment to last longer than 10-15 mins with him, dony expect him to answer any of your questions either. When I went for my 22 week ultra sound he just whizzed through it all and my husband and I didnt even get to look at our baby,all he told us was the gender and everything "looked healthy", not quite sure how he was able to see that from only one angle considering she was upside down at the time. Im not sure why he received such high ratings with health grades, maybe he has taken on too many patients and over-loaded himself too much.

I absolutely loved my experience with this office Dr Sherman the front desk and nurses were all fantastic made me feel incredibly comfortable they had an answer for every question I had plus an abundance of support and advice. Not to mention the hospital staff was fantastic. They made me as comfortable as they could. Every one was so sweet and polite and being a first time mamma I was scared and they walked me through every question or concern I had. Ive never had a more plesant experience! Im very thankful that we chose this team to deliver our baby. I wouldnt want to go to anyone else.

Reviewing the other negative reviews really frustrates me. Obviously you are going to wait for an appointment 30 min- 1 hour; if the office is busy. The front office staff was not too present my first visit, although Dr Sherman was amazing! Dr Sherman was super friendly and made me feel really comfortable. I say it was worth the wait. Going into my recent visit the office staff were very friendly. I was referred by a friend to this doctor and she as well has had nothing but wonderful things to say.

Dr Sherman was the perfect dr for my family. Very kind and personable. He delivered my second baby girl and it was a completely different experience than my first child. He was very patient and calm during my delivery which took an hour out of his "schedule". He delivers babies for a living...babies are unpredictable sometimes. If I had to wait for him to see me for an appointment I completely understand why. His staff was always kind and courteous. Great people.

Customer service doesnt even rate a one star.... Scheduled an appointment back in December... Waited over 30 minutes past my appointment time before they tell me he isnt there. I left. Went back again in July by referral just to have the same thing happen again. This same doctor delivered my baby, he is a good doctor, but if you are looking for a punctual doctor who schedules appointments and keeps them then this place is not for you.

Their staff has went above and beyond for me. They are efficient,and I have never waited 10 minutes past my appointment time. They are quick to call me back and I just love this office. Im looking forward to finishing my pregnancy with Dr.Vincent Sherman. So far I think its going to be a really great experience.

Just amazing staff and doctors had all three of my children with John shurman and his brother. I never went one appointment with out a smile from the way staff treated me wile I was there.and I do want to say think you all and,all is missed dearly.☺

Everyone from the front desk, nurse, and of course Dr. Sherman was very polite and professional. I live in downtown Austin and have no problem driving 40 minutes to this office. The staff is that exceptional
