From a scale 0-10 I would give it a negative, horrible service lack of knowledge from the doctor. The whole staff lacks personality and common sense. When making and appointment I asked for a certain procedure to be done at the time of my appointment. When I arrive and wait for more then 30 min to be seen I learn that the doctor wont be able to do the procedure. When I ask why he said its to complicated for him (ok odd) then I ask what about some acne issues he states some acne is good to have. At this point Im boiling in disappointment. When I see the receptionist I ask why didnt anyone tell me that the doctor wouldnt be able to do the procedure. She stated that she didnt know what he is capable of. HORRIBLE!! Waste of time and money.

I found this doctor to be rude and arrogant. He took about 3 minutes with me and diagnosed me incorrectly. When questioned about how he came to that conclusion, I was made to feel that I was questioning Gods judgment. Unfortunately, I have seen dermatologist off and on since puberty, so I know a thing or two about my skin. This doctors office is set up for Botox and skin tightening.. thats what his specialty is. If you have real issues with your skin, find a real doctor. This guy is a beautician. Please note both positive reviews are from the same person.

Laborde is not great as he sounds. He is very arrogant and pathetic. He doesnt seem experienced when it comes to dermatology, he asks you what kind of medicine you want to use, which is completely wrong because the doctor should decide what medicine you should take. Also he is always taking in the scientific name so you get confused with all the medicine names. Also he takes a lot of time to get to you, and after all that wait you dont get an answer from him. I wouldnt go back to this doctor and will never recommend him to anyone.

I was promptly seen on time for my appointment. The office was very clean and inviting and the office staff were very pleasant. The Dr. spent time to ask me what all i had tried in the past and asked about my history I have had a long history of acne and have been to many dermatologists through the years and he took the time to listen and give some recommendations. It was only my first appointment but so far so good! I was very impressed that I spent more time with the Dr. Than the nurse or tech as it usually is in dr. offices

The best dermatologist i have seen or met in Houston . Very knowledeable and excellent bed side manners . He had diagnosed my condition even without a biopsy but did do it to confirm it as well .Dont know why the other readers are calling him rude but my experience with both visits was awesome . I could get an appointment next day and barely had to wait 15-20 mins . The staff was also very kind and helpful , especially the nurse who assists him , the little asian lady .Would recommend Dr.Laborde anyday.

Respect, Value and Adore Dr. Laborde!!
Dr. Laborde is a kind and professional dermatologist with excellent credentials. I look forward to my visits with him and the always pleasant and gracious staff. My focus is primarily aesthetic, however every adult member of my family has visited him for various skin care concerns, 2 of which had melanoma removed. We trust Dr. Laborde as a physician and have referred several friends to him and they too are quite pleased with the results.

Dr Laborde is an excellent doctor- both for all the typical things a dermatologist deals with but also for the cosmetic side. He is a great listener and his staff is very professional. The office is very modern and well maintained. He has treated me for a wide variety of things, including dysport injections. It is very important to find a place where the DOCTOR does the injections. No matter where i live in houston, I will always drive to him. trust him completely.

Everything felt very rushed. The staff & doctor were all very professional and polite, very welcoming. However when it came to the actual appointment and asking questions it seemed that my questions were an inconvenience to him due to the other patients he had waiting.

Took my son in for stubborn wart. Dr Laborde did a great job helping my son feel comfortable. Dr. gave us options and we decided to go with the laser treatment. Wart is gone! Very pleased and would definitely recommend.

Dr Laborde is arrogant, I felt the same way about when I asked him to repeat what he was diagnosing. Do not recommend him at all for skin problems. He might be a good beautician...
