I had my surgery completed this week and I am very pleased with the hair restoration already. Over the past several months, I had researched a variety of FUE transplant doctors around the country that offered the ARTAS system. I was very fortunate to find Dr. Rashid at Mosaic Clinic Hair Transplant Center, Houston, TX. He was very professional during our initial skype consultation and I was pleased to find out that the cost of traveling to his clinic and receiving a hair transplant was financially worth the trip. I had scheduled my surgery shortly thereafter. I was also pleased to meet with him in person on the day of my surgery to discuss different options for my hairline. Dr. Rashid allowed me to tailor my front hairline due to recession. Other doctors that I had visited for a consultation never provided me any options in customizing my treatment. All in all, the surgery was minimally invasive due to the ARTAS system and I know I will recover quickly due to this newly advanced technique. After the surgery, I was unable to drive my car back to the hotel because I felt drowsy from the medications that were required prior to the surgery. Mosaic Clinic was courteous to call a cab to drive me back to the hotel since I was unable to drive. The following day, Dr. Rashid was willing to see how I was recovering and we discussed my post-operative care. Dr. Rashid had mentioned to me that he will call me in a few days to follow up on my recovery. I am excited to see the results in the near future and will definitely recommend anyone who is considering a hair restoration to visit Dr. Rashid for a consultation.

The one thing you should know about this place is they do only FUE hair transplants which is rather unique. Now I know all results are not equal and not all transplants work out, so I am lucky to consider myself one of the fortunate. FUE hair transplants are interesting because the healing process is a little different and you cant do as big a case as the other type of transplants which sometimes means u have to return for a touch up. However doing your research is important so you are not in for any surprises. I know people who went to other doctors around the country and some have been happy and some have not. This is why I like to emphasize you have to know the type of restoration you want. Then you have to decide on the doctor you like. Since every doctor has good and bad results with every patient being different it is important you know and like and trust the doc. Somethings to be aware of and know to ask: make sure the place doesnt outsource and ask what the success rate is. If they say 100% then walk away. No one in any business has that success rate and it is a big red flag. The doctors background can be important also. For example i know dermatologists and plastic surgeons train for years in hair, skin and making peoplee pretty. On the other hand, you can find lots of docs who are trained in internal medicine and other specialties that then change careers to hair and then have to go out of the way to take extra tests to prove they are at least equal.. This may be ok for you just know the background.

8-18 Update. I was mistaken in my review, I have spoken directly to the head of Mosaic Dr Rashid as he was concerned about my review. What I can say about him is he is professional, honest and caring. He took his time to explain to me the misunderstanding that I was having with his office staff. The Doctor then spoke to me about the hair transplant procedures in detail. As many Doctors make you feel rushed and are rude, He is the opposite very patient, answers all questions thoroughly, and has a upbeat positive attitude. He explained to me the expectations, Pros and Cons of the procedure. and He answer several questions I had about the procedure. I have been researching this subject for some time and getting cards in mail, and several calls from his competitors. Just wasting my time. With discounts and gimmicks. Like a factory making cheap items. And I did not want to be one of there items. .All I can say is it is worth your time to look into what Mosaic has to offer. They are far superior in there knowledge and procedures then many others that are in the market place now. I definitely felt satisfied and happy with the results of our conversation. So satisfied I book the procedure to be done right away. Do yourself a favor and call them for a consultation, You will be glad you did . Mosaic and Dr Rashid are a first class professional organization.

I have been a patient of Dr Rashids and have background experience in education and healthcare. I have also had a chance to see several of his patient results in person. I have seen many great results and very happy patients. I think it is important to emphasize the value of following instructions closely before and after the procedure. It is also important to review the website in detail as it is very helpful. For example, the website shows you examples of conservative results and variations on the hair cut. While some doctors like to do cases of thousands of grafts, Dr. Rashid gives patients the option of doing smaller cases with future stages or touch ups as needed AND Dr. Rashid regularly turns away patients that are not good candidates. Many patients appreciate that. Dr Rashid is also VERY honest and that is one of the key things that makes him such a greatt doctor. You dont get too many honest doctors these days on cosmetic procedures like this, where they could easy say they did more than what they actually did and charge you. The clinic also offers very close follow up and a 24 hour on call number for all patients. I think they go above and beyond to provide great service. I will definietly be going back to the Mosaic Clinic for anything I need!!

This place is nice and has a lot of personal touches. The service is amazing always with quick call back times. Its really hard to express how good it feels to get hair again. And real hair not some hair piece. The results and expectations are very well described in advance. The hair transplant at mosaic clinic is minimally invasive and they dont do fut so very focused on fue. They dont have multiple locations which is nice. The first week after the procedure is the toughest. But the end result is what matters. I would like everybody to know that many hair transplant doctors are actually originally trained in something else like internal medicine and you can see this on the Texas Medical Board site. In doing my research I discovered that the training of dermatology and plastic surgery is generally the only one that offers hair transplant training in residency. Im surprised how many internal medicine and family doctors do hair transplants.

I would strongly recommend that if you are in the market for hair restoration you MUST go see Dr. Rashid at The Mosaic Clinic Hair Transplant Center! I researched the subject of hair loss and found that Dr. Rashid had been nominated as one of H Texas magazines’ Top Doctors of Houston and I am thrilled that I made the call. Dr. Rashid went over the entire procedure and never rushed through any of the questions that I had for him. His staff and he made sure I felt welcomed and had the most professional approach to the subject of hair loss! It has been a little over a year since I had the procedure done and I must say, I have not had a hair line that looks this good in twenty years…thanks, Dr. Rashid. You have made my wife and I very happy…take care!
