To start their phone system is just weird. Not like 99.99999 other doctors offices where press1 for appointments.. nope that is option 4, after emergencies, directory, messages, and more. Seriously.... I have never come across that and in a family as large as mine I call ALOT of doctors offices. This is just minuscule to the problem though. I called them today to schedule an appointment for my facial hyperhydrosis and the staff member that answered the phone seriously did not even know what it was. So without even letting me know... she transferred me to someone else... who did not know what it was. So after explaining the laymen term for hyperhydrosis (excessive sweating) #2 rep knew they treated it but knew nothing else about it. So she said I needed to actually talk to the medical staff and transferred me. Mind you... I have not even set an appointment yet! Well no surprise I get transferred to a voice mail. After that I simply told them on my message that I made a mistake because no way on earth am I going to go there if the staff does not even know about hyperhydrosis. Not to mention the headache already and I have not even made an appointment yet. I turned around and called Clear Lake Dermatology and the receptionist knew exactly what Hyperhydrosis was and within minutes I had an appointment and was sent on my way. Hyperhydrosis is very very common and there should be no reason why a member of an office has never heard of it... much less two for two!

I was not happy with the service I received. I went for acne scar treatment but I felt like I was diagnosing myself. I say this because the doctor never offered anything that I didnt ask for. Either I did my research very well or the doctor just wasnt really interested in helping me. She would ask whats bothering me each time like it was a new consult. I would say so and so is bothering me so I was wondering if I could try this or that and she would say ok.. she recommended nothing but a very harsh pill called Accutane that causes birth defects and other issues. Once I declined that it was like thats it, she had nothing else. Also, I did get a peel. The tech wasnt helpful either. She constantly tried talking me into getting what she received and pulled out her iPad showing pics of herself, which is helpful but I saw no difference at all. I just felt she continued to push her treatment on me even though Id declined several times. Lastly, each time my doctors would end up leaving, so I would have to explain everything again. This happened 3 times. I eventually stopped scheduling. Didnt receive an email saying hey its time for another appt, nothing. Only emails informing me when my doctor was leaving and passing me to yet another doc.

My daughter was referred there to have a small cyst removed from her arm. I was charged $108 for the doctor to walk into the room, look at the cyst and say, " Yeah, thats a cyst. Lets schedule an appointment to remove it" and that was basically it. 3 minutes to repeat what the referring doctor had already said (I had to pay that one too). To me this seemed like nothing more than an opportunity to get an additional fee and an abuse of the insurance system. I am disgusted and will go to one of the many alternatives in the area. **UPDATE** I find it very telling that these people cant even be bothered to respond to negative comments individually rather than using a cut and pasted response. A short scroll down will show that the same response was used for each. I find this very in keeping with the treatment received in their office. Yet another reason to go somewhere else.

The people at Advanced Dermatology on Cullen are all professional, courteous and nice to all patients but there comes along a person once in a while that is truly exceptional. Such a person is Victoria that works at the front desk foe Advanced dermatology at their Cullen location. Not only is she one of the nicest people you could ever meet she is all about helping others. When I was having a tough situation getting paperwork from another facility she volunteered to help and the entire problem was resolved and I had an appointment within a half hour. As I was waiting for my appointment I noticed how she continued to help everyone that came in with a smile never leaving her face. I know if there was one person I would want as an ambassador for me or my business it would be her. Victoria, you are truly my hero.

As I approached 40, I felt like my body was falling apart...acne, discoloration, shifting weight gain. Beginning treatment at advanced dermatology, was the best decision of my life. Through a series of serendipitous occurrences, I not only received treatment for my skin, but the staff at AD helped me to find a practitioner to balance my hormones. The staff at Advanced Dermatology saved my life! Dr. Egesi is the most personable, detailed, and skilled specialist. CT in the Katy office does the most thorough chemical peels. Sue and Jennifer offer excellent consultant advice and follow-up with all questions. Even though Dr. Egesi only works in the Pearland and Sugarland now, for me, it is worth the longer drive to see her. If you are considering AD, do not hesitate!

So far I am unhappy with them taking away all my face products because of a red rash around my eye, even the products I use everywhere without a reaction. I am using their recommended chemical laden products in effort to figure out what the rash is and now I am breaking out, I called to see what kind of toner I can use and they said I shouldnt use anything just keep breaking out until my next appointment in 10 days, I assume its so I will have to have more visits and pay them more money as well as line the pockets of the pharmaceutical companies they are aligned with. Give a girl some toner, so I can address the issue I have without creating more. I am calling a new dermatologist tomorrow.

I was very self-conscious with my skin, a friend recommended Advanced Dermatology to me. I called them up and from the first call I was extremely pleased how polite and professional the attendants/receptionist was to answer and scheduling an appointment for me. My first consultation was with Dr. Ali, which was very understanding about my specific needs and she took the time to answer and explain the best way to treat my specific skin problem. I’ve been going with Dr. Ali for the last year and have seen great improvement. Highly recommend Advanced Dermatology one of the best dermatologists in Pearland

I took my son that had a bad case of acne to see on of dermatologists in Pearland. Wait was a bit long about 20 minutes but once we got inside the nurses and dermatologist were extremely patient and took the time to listen and gave great recommendation. Its been almost 7 months already and we have seen the great improvement in my sons acne problem. Wish could I found them earlier instead of trying the other dermatologist. Highly recommend Advanced Dermatology, ask for Dr. Duncan if you can

My husband saw Dr. Ali for a skin biopsy in January 2009. Once I found out from my insurance company that we overpaid on the visit, I called the office for a refund but was refered to an accounting company. When I spoke to the companys billing rep on December 2009, I was told that I would receive a refund. Still, to this day, I have yet to receive mt refund. Be careful cause you will get overcharged!
