Please find a different dermatologist as this Doctor and staff are completely worthless! First of all, the doctor completely misdiagnosed the issue and caused us to spend hundreds on products that didnt work. We went back multiple times but still the issue wasnt improving. In the end we went to our family practice doctor who actually diagnosed the issue correctly, and now the problem has been resolved. To add salt to the wound, at the last appointment they made my wife schedule a follow-up weeks in advance that she forgot about after we went to the family practice doctor. They never bothered to call to remind us about the appointment (or for any of the appointments actually) despite claiming to have a reminder service, and when we missed the appointment they charged us a $25 fee that they wouldnt budge on at all. This place is a scam and I really hope that those of you reading find someone better to help you!

My Husband has been a patient of "Dr. Smith" for several years. Mind you, he is NEVER actually seen by Dr. Smith but by whichever Dr. Is in the office that day. It is well known that if my husband does not receive his medication in a timely fashion his condition worsens severely. After scheduling his appt 3 months in advance, he received a call from staff stating that they need to reschedule for a week later. Reluctantly, my husband agreed. Now after calling to verify the office has his medication available for his appt , Im told the appt was scheduled nearly a month later than the original and no medication is available. This the third time my husband has had to rearrange his busy work schedule, meanwhile his condition is deteriorating. This is how they treat patients of many years apparently.

I would not recommend this office for your dermatological needs. I have never be so aggravated as I am right now trying to get a prescription pre-authorized because of my new insurance plan requirements. The staff has been incredibly rude to me as well as the BCBS prescription representative that called on my behalf. Not to mention, the doctor himself is never available to see unless you want to wait for MONTHS for an appointment and you never know what PA you will see because there is always a new one. He must have a revolving door for his PAs. Have just found a new Dermatologist to see after this experience.

The incompetence, rudeness of the office staff is unnerving. Two chem peels that didnt work; an incompetent anesthetist that basically called me a liar because as she said "too many people try to scam her". The icing on the cake was a $50. charge for a No-show appointment, an appointment that I had cancelled. The office manager at the time removed it from my account and somehow it was mysteriously added back on. I was never notified, billed, or informed. Now, 3 years later, the new office manager stated it was sent to collections and the Credit Bureau. Like I said, rude, incompetent and would not recommend.

One of the worst Dr out there. On his website, he specializes in acne, but he doesnt know anything about acne. His cream costs over $1000, which the insurance company wont cover. I confirmed with him before heading to the phamarcy that insurance will cover, but it didnt happen that way. A few days later, I saw the insurance company paid $80 and leave the $50 to me. I had paid $20 co pay at the office. For only 2 minutes of nonsense in his client, he dared charging a client $150. He should be ashame of being a Dr. Dr should be kind and helpful. He didnt even have the humanity and morality.

I saw Dr. smith for the first time in about 6 years. First, I just want to say that his back office staff has really stepped it up from the last time I was there. My general doctor sent me to him because he couldnt diagnose my problem. Dr. smith diagnosed it in 2 mins, treated me and I was on my way. He is a brilliant man and his assistant seemed smart as hell too. I was extremely happy with my visit. The doc and his employees with him are wonderful and caring. I would recommend to anyone who asks.

I was a new patient and very nervous about what to expect. Appointment was at 9:30 got there at 9:15, filled out my paperwork and was called back at 9:30..The staff was very very nice! I was put in my room and within 5 minutes the PA came in. We talked about why I was there she looked at my condition and admitted she did not know and went to get Dr Smith. They looked together and we all agreed on a plan. I had a biopsy done and was back at work by 10:30. Honesty, Teamwork, Kindness, Efficient!

Pretty terrible. I was there for a total of 2.5 hours with only about 15 minutes of face time with the PA. They blamed the long wait on "switching systems" which is understandable, but plan ahead. Dont make patients suffer for your failure to plan accordingly. After all that, the PA told me to wait in the examination room and shed be "back in a minute". 20 minutes later I came out to find that she had forgotten about me. Avoid this place.

Have repeatedly tried to contact the Kingwood office on 12/23/15 to no avail. The answering service would not give out info as to whether the office is closed or not this week. How can patients no the status when no information is provided?

I wasnt kept waiting and the dr. was agresssive against my psorsias. He didnt load me down with the same old creams. That cost way to much an do nothing.
